The ARGUS-IS (Autonomous Real-time Ground Ubiquitous Surveillance – Imaging System) is a powerful 1.8-Gigapixel camera capable of real-time, high-resolution video for the purposes of finding, tracking and monitoring events in real time; it’s able to identify six inch targets from up to 20,000 feet in the air. Leave it to DARPA to make the inevitable machine takeover that much easier.
Not that I’m a fan of “big brother”…….I do see how this would ..or could catch child abductors….and fight crime. But that’s not going to make the state revenue, war on drugs does…..”eye roll”
