The Springfield Armory® M1 Carbine air rifle, available exclusively through Air Venturi and its authorized retailers, is a faithful BB-firing replica of the iconic firearm that saw service with U.S. troops and allies in World War II through the Vietnam War and beyond. It’s a semi-automatic carbine that features a realistic blowback action. Every time the trigger is pulled, the rifle discharges the BB in the chamber, the bolt slides back and the next round is seated in the breech, ready to go – just like the original.
The M1 Carbine CO2 BB replica is powered by a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge and gets about 40 good shots from a full one. It features a full-metal, 15-round drop-free magazine, which also houses the CO2 power plant. It even weighs about as much as the .30-caliber version – just over 5 ½ pounds – and achieves muzzle velocities of up to 425 feet per second using steel BBs. It incorporates a metal upper receiver into a synthetic, wood-look stock, with a genuine wood-stock upgrade available.
