For what it’s worth, PIG gloves are easily my favorite tactical glove currently available on the market. The design allows for incredibly dexterous hand movement while utilizing a glove, and they have a great selection of features, including the touchscreen compatible forefinger and thumb, the elastic wrist for easier don and doff, and the paracord pull loop.
Well, equally awesome small batch gear and apparel company Triple Aught Design is partnering up with PIG to produce a PIG FDT Delta+ Glove TAD Edition. The FTD Delta+ TAD Edition is exclusive to Triple Aught Design, and features a single layer leather palm upgrade over the standard PIG gloves, making these more robust for hard field use. The forefinger and thumb feature a carbon impregnated leather to retain touchscreen compatibility, while the rest of the glove is made of a two-way stretch poly material with TAD’s trademark 3D topo screen print accents, and the paracord wrist pull also sports an integrated TAD logo.
Unfortunately, the PIG FDT Delta+ TAD Edition gloves aren’t yet available for direct purchase. Rather, they’re currently up as a timed project on TAD’s website, available for pre-order with about 8 days left before the project closes, at the time of writing. TAD also noted on their Facebook page that “[They] can’t promise a restock at this time due to long manufacturing lead times. This might be your only opportunity to secure a pair for 2020.” So, if you want to jump on these, you better do it soon!
PIG FDT Delta+ TAD Edition gloves are being offered in four colors: Black, Carbon Grey, Coyote Brown, and Ranger Green; sizes S – 2XL.
