U.S. Army Spc. They conducted three portions of training involving detection, obedience and patrol skills.The scenarios incorporated real-life distracters such as an entry team to get the dog accustomed to such distractions before going out into the field.

    The K-9 pictured here had always been known to racially profile so the Army has developed a new pattern known as Multicam to help train aging K-9s. Pictures here: Multicams effectiveness in action. The K-9 can no longer see that the handler and suspect are of the same racial background. Multicam does it’s job well.
