First off, Max Brooks knows jack about zombies, in fact no one does, we can only speculate. And for that B minus the katana is my answer. If zombies get by an m14, claymore, and mp5 they are probably right on top of you anyways and the katana isn’t going to help. Only people I know that would use a katana or chainsaw are those zombie squad mall ninja gecko45s who know crap about anything other than video games and movies.
The katana is the most usefull melee weapon there. U must be dumb to not chose it as melee. It’s cut capability is just awesome. Ofc the chainsaw is a better melee weapon in terms of destruction but it needs gasoline which doesnt make it a good choice after all.The machete is just an ordinary melee weapon if compared with the katana(Which have higher range and a extremelly high cut capabilty) and the golfclub and the baseball weapons are just useless concusion weapons that arent really usefull versus zombies.
B and C are the best options if u ask me.
I think A. is a good choice. A hand gun is suitable for zombies, after all, a dangerous zombie is a close zombie. Also, to point out, the handgun in choice A. is a Beretta 92fs, which is 9mm. 9mm is a common round carried by the majority of law enforcement agencies an the military. Also, a shotgun is a tool: it can be used for breaching doors, hunting small or large game, and working in a pinch( depending on the type of shell used ). If you watch zombiegoboom on YouTube, then you should know bolo-styled machetes are devastating skull-crushers and aren’t very messy, thus lowering chance of infection. And the grenade, as cliched as it seems, is a viable option. If a horde of walkers were on my six, I’d want them cleared away-effectively and with haste. I appreciate you reading my sermon on why I think choice A. works out for me and hope it helps with your Zombie Apocalypse prepping/surviving.
Quick add-on. I didn’t realize choice A. offered two Berettas. this means one of two things: you could loan one to your prepper buddy or use one as a hidden back-up if you’re held hostage by a hostile survivor/group. Think about it…
Well… i think the best combination is a mix-up of: primary C, secondary A, Melee B and Throwable A or D
Primary C because you might want a light weight machine gun with laser dot, it might help you out in crowded zombie areas.
Secondary A because the double amount, light weight berettas, wich use easy obtainable amunition.
Melee B, katanas are really good melee weapons if you have enough space to swing around than one swing wil take out 5 à 6 zombies at once. But if you’re for example in a staircase you might go for the machete.
Throwable A or D. A will cause a lot of damage, D will cause a lot of distraction… Both are extremely usefull in the right circumstances
So that was my shitty english opinion… thank you
What’s Happening i’m new to this, I stumbled upon this I have found It
absolutely helpful and it has helped me out loads.
I hope to contribute & aid other users like its helped me.
Good job.
I would choose A, but that’s not what this comment is about. Most people chose B, but there is a flaw in the katana. If you can’t swing it properly and then you are left with a heavy (trust me, I have one at home) Chunk of metal you can do nothing with. Plus, anything assault grade is a no go as you run out of ammunition double the speed you would usually do.
