Harry Potter is doing some trigger pulling in Iraq

Ignore any of the conspiracy theory stuff, if you want. Just watch the video. It’s pretty cool.

Tactical Fanboy: Harry Potter is running direct action missions in Iraq, apparently.

NO idea if this is actually Harry Potter using his invisibility cloak and marauder map to put some hate down on insurgents in Iraq, some kind of high level steely-eyed snake-eater tech accidentally being revealed or just some clever video editing (after all, anything is possible with film these days: they made us want to get freaky with green-skinned chicks on the new Star Trek movie, right?) Definitely worth checking it out though.

That doesn’t look like optic camo, that looks like a video with f-ed up frame speed and a soldier making a mad dash up the tank screaming “Which way did they go? Which way did they go?” Look at how the soldier exits the Humvee just before the tank scramble. The same frame artifact makes it seem as though he teleported through the vehicle door.

A crossdraw vest? Seriously Harry! I thought you were better than that!

  3. Daniel Grossman says:

its just crappy video quality and soldiers wearing camo that is similar color to to the background just like the tanks fade in from the background, although not common you can move fast enough with low enough frame rate that movement becomes so blurred it can be indistinguishable from the background.

its funny that some camel jockey with a camera thinks that a khaki/tan jump suit on a dude is optical camo haha
the video skips like 2 or 3 frames and they think its space age camouflage… made me laugh.

  5. that was a long video for 10 seconds worth of action. the conspiracy crap was a total joke. this vid is fake.

    action starts 3:28

  6. Liquidgecko says:

if everyone else was wearing just tan gear and a shemagh, and no black like most have, they’d do the exact same thing. like others have said, its a side effect of a crappy camera.

Yeah….this guy is off – He thinks the US Army pulled his video for copyright infringement? Ummm, no – Unless he owns the rights to that Disturbed song, that is flat-out CI and he would’ve got pulled pretty quick for that and nothing else.

And someone who produces videos for a living – that effect takes about 30 secs on After Effects if you know what you’re doing.
