Today, famed actor Sean Connery died, aged 90, at his home in Nassau in the Bahamas. Although best known for being the first actor to portray James Bond on screen — a total of seven times, starting with 1962’s Dr. No, and ending with 1983’s Never Say Never Again — he’s also portrayed myriad characters of film and television in a career spanning 1954 through 2012, including Zed from 1974’s Zardoz, one of his more unique rolls (seen above).
We here at Tactical Fanboy thank Sean Connery for his years of on-screen badassery, and hope he’s now in a better place.
