According to this io9 article, it’s quite possible the last film in the Chris Nolan Batman Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, will feature Batcopters similar in design to the ‘Tumbler’ Batmobile featured in the last two flicks. Helicopters are nice, but personally I’d like to see a BatVTOL or at least that sweet Batboat in The Animated Series that turned into a submarine. Ah, nostalgia.
A BATVOLT would be more keeping with the modern theme of the movies and would just be straight cool to see. No matter what devices the new film has for Batman it’s gonna be cool. Nolan has breathed new life into Batman.
But it is technically a BatVTOL. The Batwing, but I doubt it has that name since there is a no narm rule is this saga. I don’t know where you saw rotors at, bud.
Although, I’m so excited that, even though it’s not even July yet, I already bought my tickets from the theater. Not for the midnight release, though, since last time I did that with friends I had to see it by myself (different theater room and earlier) since it was so full.
Only about 10,000 morons in this town and I swear all of them were there. The final Harry Potter movie damn well deserved so much viewership, though.
