Super Hero movies have become the norm, with Marvel’s meticulous planning of their shared universe films culminating in the eventual release of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. To hype up the film, Marvel released this behind-the-scenes teaser on what’s to come.
Kinda wish Justice League has this level of forethought.
We continue the series of John Wick related posts with this video from 5.11 Tactical showing off some of the training Taran Tactical did with Keanu Reeves to prepare him for his role as the titular character in John Wick Chapter 2.
Yea, Superbowl, go Patriots, etc. What was really worth the watch was the trailers for upcoming flicks like ‘Logan’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2’, and the new ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film staring Javier Bardem as an undead pirate. Among those was a teaser for the second season of ‘Stranger Things’, appropriately called ‘Stranger Things 2’, AKA that series that’s a love letter to Spielberg 80’s movies with a sweet synth soundtrack.
Look forward to Stranger Things 2 coming out this Halloween.
600 years after the events of the original Mass Effect trilogy, play as not-Sheppard as he/she explores a new galaxy with virtually the same collection of alien species in the last game, while befriending a new alien species and fighting another alien species.
Unfortunate that the actual T-800 series wasn’t constructed of cardboard, since a light rain or some tactical application of fire would have greatly hastened the eventual human resistance victory.
In a world with very few mutants left, Old Man Logan and Older Man Prof. X must escort X-23, a female clone of Wolvie and who’s creation was totally hinted at in the post-credits scene from X-Men: Apocalypse, to safety from very bad men.
This commercial from Chevy depicts LEGO Batman’s Batmobile as a vehicle under their lineup, a parody of their recent string of (annoying) focus group commercials.
If I had $48 million lying around, and this was real, I’d buy one.
Take a look at the video above, where YouTuber AstonishingStudios creates a replica of the NERF Maverick REV-6 Blaster, entirely of LEGO pieces. While that’s impressive enough, the resulting model not only actually fires, but fires real NERF foam darts.
It’s inventive, and it has ‘gun’ in its name, so I’m obligated to write about it. What it is, is the PFM-A5 paper airplane gun, a motorized gun which is capable of manufacturing and firing paper airplanes. It loads from a reward paper tray, and sports a fire rate of up to 120 planes/min.

YouTube Channel ‘Smarter Every Day‘ made up a video testing whether a .22 bullet was capable of shattering a Prince Rupert’s Drop, and recorded it a 150,000 fps using a high-speed camera.
Spoiler: the drop breaks, but it’s more to do with the resulting vibration caused by the bullet hitting the drop rather than the actual impact from the bullet.
YouTube channel Looper goes over the various scenes from the recently-released Rogue One that appeared in the trailer, but were missing from the theatrical release due to the reported reshoot.
In this action-packed sequel to the iconic film Blade Runner, the Driver finds himself transported far into the future, where he seeks the help of infamous galactic smuggler Han Solo to defeat the ever encroaching threat of the sentient smog and dust clouds that are poised to soon overtake the world.
The Planet of the Apes franchise is one of my favorites, and the first two reboot films have been pretty decent so far, so hopefully this one follows suit.
The Hacksmith continues their quest to develop functional Batman gadgets with their latest creation, the Batman Grappling Hook Gun. It is capable of shooting up to 150 feet, and uses 3mm Kevlar rope which is rated to 2000lbs. They’re also working on a 8HP electric superwinch, which will be designed to allow users to scale buildings faster than any commercially available wench.
