The Can Cannon is a fully assembled AR-15 upper receiver which is capable of launching a standard unopened 12-ounce can of soda up to 105 yards, using standard MIL-SPEC blanks. It is BAFTE approved as a non-destructive device. Future accessories, including a net launcher and dog training toys will soon follow. Available in Black, FDE, and OD Green.

Saturday, February 22nd, 2014Taken at SHOT Show 2014, these pictures show the 9mm Parabellum conversion kit for the Tavor SAR. The kit comes with everything needed to convert the 5.56 Tavor into a pistol-caliber carbine: a 1:10 twist CHF 17″ barrel, blowback recoil assembly with bolt and carrier, 9mm magazine magwell adapter, 9mm deflector, and 32-round magazine. They also threw in a barrel removal wrench.
Although the kit isn’t currently up on the IWI website, a few online vendors have listings for the kit.

January 14, 2014 – Las Vegas, Nevada, United States – The KRISS Vector Enhanced Series is comprised of the Vector CRB and SBR models equipped with an M4 stock adaptor, Magpul UBR stock and MBUS flip sights. The scheduled release date for the Enhanced Series is set for Q2 with an MSRP targeted at $1,995.00.
The Magpul stock and MBUS sights give the Vector a similar feel to the ubiquitous AR-15. The stock adaptor, which makes the attachment of the UBR stock possible, will be available for sale separately and allows for a new avenue of customization for the Vector. Magpul MBUS Sights equipped on the Enhanced Series were designed specifically to match the Vector’s unique shape.
According to KRISS USA Marketing Manager Tim Seargeant, the Enhanced Series will feel familiar to more shooters, making it easier to adapt to the Vector’s futuristic design, and is now more customizable.
“The KRISS Super V technology inside the Vector is designed to enhance shooting performance by mitigating recoil forces. Magpul products aim to enhance shooting performance through external upgrades. The Vector with Magpul accessories is a great pairing.” Seargeant adds.

SHOT Show 2014 – Kel-Tec
Wednesday, January 15th, 2014Kel-Tec is releasing this bullpup rifle, the M43, next year. It’s a wood-and-metal variant of the brand new polymer RDB carbine, both chambered for 5.56. The M43’s design is intended to resemble 1940s firearms technology. It features an adjustable gas piston operation and full ambidextrous controls; brass ejects downward, behind the magazine. Unlike its polymer brother,the M43 features no rails and isn’t suppressor ready. Instead, it has folding iron sights to complement its wood handguard, pistol grip, and stock. Another small difference is the folding charging handle on the M43, compared to the fixed handle on the RDB.

It comes with a 10-round magazine coated in Rhino Skin, a proprietary grip coating; 5-round magazines are also available for restrictive areas. One of the coolest features of this weapon is it utilizes a .308 lower, meaning the 12 gauge upper can be swapped with a .308 upper and still maintain functionality. It comes standard with a carbon fiber or aluminum modular hand guard and Magpul CTR stock. Further options and packages will be available, including a .308/12 gauge combo package.

The M-1 9mm comes standard with two 10-round Beretta 92FS magazines; additional 17-round magazines are also available. It comes with a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. The rifling consists of 6 grooves with a 1:10 twist rate. A synthetic bayonet lug is included. The M-1 utilizes a blow-back action. Available in wood and black synthetic.

Friday, January 18th, 2013The SIG MPX is a submachine gun designed to operate with a fully closed and locked rotating bolt system. It employs a gas-operated short stroke piston system and the bolt is held open on the last round fired. The MPX can be configured for three calibers, 9mm, .357SIG, and .40S&W, by swapping out for the appropriate barrel. An integral picatinny rail at 12 o’clock allows for the use of optics, including the SIG MPX reflex sight. The ambidextrous safety/selector switch and magazine release are quite reminiscent of the AR-style. The stock system is user-configurable, with options for a telescoping, pistol, or folding stock. Magazines comes in 10/20 or 30 round configurations. The MPX itself comes in five styles: MPX (standard), MPX-K (compact variant), MPX-P (pistol variant), MPX-SD (integrally suppressed), and MPX-C (carbine variant).

Thursday, January 17th, 2013The Trijicon ACOG 3×30 with 300 AAC Blackout reticle features a battery-free, self-illuminated reticle with a ballistic drop compensator for both supersonic and subsonic rounds. One of its key features is the Bindon Aiming Concept, which allows for both-eyes-open shooting. The reticle utilizes standard 16 inch barrel velocities and is designed to be calibrated with supersonic (115 gr.) ammo using a zero of 100 yards.

Freedom Fighter AK – SHOT 2013
Thursday, January 17th, 2013Black Rain Ordnance is expanding their line of rifles to include the AK-derivative Freedom Fighter in 7.62×39. Its features include a free float quad rail fore end, ambidextrous selector switch, rubberized pistol grip, and a Magpul UBR stock. It’s being displayed at the booth in two color options: a light, steel gray and olive drab. Also worth mentioning is the weight, as in its current form its a pretty hefty beast, especially in the fore end. Still in the prototype stage, Black Rain plans to release it later this year.
