Modern Warfare 3 World Premier Trailer Tonight

Just a quick reminder that the World Premier trailer for MW3 will be airing during game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on ESPN around 6 PM PT, much like MW2 and Black Ops in years past. If you’re like me and don’t watch a lot of televised sports, I’m sure it’ll be up on the internet minutes later.

November can’t come soon enough!

Despite the firearms inaccuracy Black Ops did have a pretty good, coherent story line. (Not quite as good as Battlefield Bad Company, in that game I found myself really liking the characters and enjoying the dialog. But I digress…) I’m hoping MW3 continues that trend.
I’m conflicted when it comes to these ‘modern war’ games. Not ringing my own bell, but I’ve been in the Army my entire adult life. I’ve been to combat as an Infantrymen. I avoided any modern war games until this year when I finally downloaded COD4. I played a good bit of the game then went to bed and had Iraq dreams all night. Now, I am not blaming the game.
I say again, I am not blaming the game.
I wanted to play it. I want to play MW2 and 3 but I’m leery. What I find strange is I’m okay with WWI- II, Korea, Vietnam games, movies, books, ect. However I, for the most part, avoid modern stuff. Anybody else like that?
Sorry for the extra long post.
(Why isn’t there a FPS based on the Korean War? Call of Duty : Korean War. I’d play the hell out of that.)

I’ve often wondered why there hasn’t been a Korean War game. Great minds think alike, I guess.
