Newington, N.H. (June 7, 2018) – SIG SAUER, Inc. has announced The 365 Challenge during the 2018 USPSA World Speed Shooting Championship (Steel Challenge) at the Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL. The 365 Challenge is set to occur during the competition.
“Come one, come all and I challenge you to compete against Max and I in The 365 Challenge,” quipped Phil Strader, SIG SAUER Pistol Product Manager. “Seriously, I am looking forward to this event and competing with some of the greatest shooters across the country with the SIG SAUER Everyday Carry P365 pistol. I believe in the performance of this firearm and I know that when put to the test, it can compete with any full-size competition pistol. This is precisely why I issued The 365 Challenge.”
The details of The 365 Challenge are as follows:
Registration: Shooters must register for The 365 Challenge on-site at the Talladega Marksmanship Park at the Steel Challenge registration. Participation is limited to the first 10 entries, and participants are limited to one entry. Registration at the 2018 USPSA World Speed Shooting Championship is required for participation in The 365 Challenge.
Competition Days: The 365 Challenge will be held only on June 15th – June 17th.
Equipment: Registered participants for The 365 Challenge are required to use a SIG SAUER P365 pistol, SIG SAUER 365 FMJ ammunition, and a Comp-Tac International Holster. All equipment will be supplied at no charge and must be returned following completion of the challenge.
Challenge Description:
1. Any participant whose qualifying time is lower than Phil Strader’s fastest center-fire match time will win a $2,500 cash prize. Strader will be using a stock P365 in Production and Limited divisions.
2. The one (1) participant with the lowest qualifying time that beats Max Michel’s center-fire match time will win The 365 Challenge $25,000 grand prize. Michel will be using his standard competition equipment in Open and Carry Optics divisions.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win The 365 Challenge, however, participants are still subject to USPSA/SCSA entry fees for the World Speed Shooting Championship/Steel Challenge.
