Peer Kreuger of Vayamenda.com created these amazing motorized LEGO models of the black and camo Tumblers and The Bat (which doesn’t actually fly) from The Dark Knight Trilogy. Additionally, he’s put them up to the CUUSOO process where there’s a chance they could become actual LEGO sets: The Bat and The Tumbler.
Man, this trailer is showing the best multiplayer for CoD yet!
That’s also the same thing I said when I saw the previous multiplayer trailers for every Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2. Granted, it does look amazing (that’s what trailers are for, after all), and the graphics are looking pretty spiffy, but I already know I’ll like the game for roughly a month, then only jump on it occasionally until the next CoD is announced and released. It’s a vicious cycle, I know. Then again, future weapons and killstreaks and a reworked create-a-class system could prove me wrong.
It’s a Punisher fan-film. In fact, it’s a brilliant Punisher fan-film that shows just how perfect Thomas Jane is for the role of Frank Castle. Add in Ron Perlman in a cameo role and plenty of that classic Punisher-style ultra-violence justice, and you’ve got a winner of a video.
Oh, and a fair bit of warning: between the language and the bone breaking, head smashing, gunshots, and leg biting, this video definitely earns its place in the NSFW category.
As far as a mindless action video game based on a mindless action movie this one actually looks pretty decent, and it’s a downloadable title which means it’ll be pretty cheap to boot.
The Expendables 2 Video Game drops July 31st (PSN), August 17 (Xbox Live and PC).
So, David S. Goyer wrote the story and Trent Reznor did the music for Black Ops 2, huh? That’s pretty exciting news! Oh, there’s also some cinematic shots and explosions and future technology and whatnot.
So, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) single handedly killed a whole bunch of very deserving men in a variety of very kick-ass ways all to save his daughter from a very horrible fate. Granted, they’re somewhat blinded by revenge, but what did the new villains honestly think was going to happen if they kidnapped both his ex-wife and daughter? Well, a lot of shooting, free running, and if we’re lucky, a Hell of a lot more throat punching!
I’m a big fan of 2000 A.D., and by extension Judge Dredd, so when I found out Hollywood is making a second attempt at a Dredd movie, I was quite a bit skeptical. After all, the last movie, staring Sylvester Stallone, isn’t exactly known as the greatest comic-book-to-big-screen conversion ever (Sly took the helmet off, dammit! Dredd never takes off the helmet!). While we can only wait until the movie is released in theaters, a bit of cheesy dialogue and a look that’s quite a bit different than the source material, although that’s not necessarily a bad thing, isn’t raising my hope that this movie will be anything but bad. On the plus side, there’s plenty of action and Dredd (Played by Karl Urban; YYMV on this choice) doesn’t take the helmet off!
Yet another video of an individual dressing like one of the undead and terrorizing random people. Although this one seems at least partially scripted, you have to wonder when one of these zombie pranks will end in tragedy.
First off, us here at TFB would like to say that our experience with the recently released ‘Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’ has been highly positive (the occasional laggy online experience including the “questionable tactics” of random players aside). However, it is lacking that certain… realism that older Red Storm Entertainment games like ‘Rainbow Six’ and the original ‘Ghost Recon’ had. John Sonedecker, former member of Red Storm Entertainment, and his game development studio BlackFoot Studios are hoping to let players relive the days without regenerating health bars and XP-based progression systems with their game ‘Ground Branch’.
You can see full details at their Kickstarter page, where you can also donate a bit of cash to help this game come to life. They’ve still got $390,000 with only 25 days left to go, so spreading the word is also highly appreciated.
This interview-style video features models Rosie Jones and India Reynolds and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the Hot Shots Calendar girls. It’s not recommended for work so you should probably watch it from home.
Please remember, you can purchase a 2012 calendar, posters and cards at www.hotshotscalendar.com. 50% of the proceeds are donated to the UK based Help for Heroes.

E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, starts today, and with that comes the obligatory rush of awesome video game trailers, including this one featuring multiplayer gameplay for Medal of Honor: Warfighter:
Linkin Park aside, the trailer is amazing and showcases multiplayer that’s leaps and bounds over that featured in 2010’s Medal of Honor. Plus, there’s plenty of Special Forces from every corner of the globe to play as, and if the trailer is any indication that also means faction-specific weaponry and equipment.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter drops October 23, 2012.
A while ago we posted an article on the book ‘Badass LEGO Guns: Building Instructions for Five Working Guns’, which was an instruction book on making five working fictional LEGO guns. This time, we’ll be focusing on the book ‘LEGO Heavy Weapons: Build Working Replicas of Four of the World’s Most Impressive Guns’ by Jack Street. Unlike the previous publication, ‘LEGO Heavy Weapons’ features plans for models based on actual firearms, specifically the Desert Eagle, AKS-74U, SPAS-12, and the Jungle Carbine, which is based on the Lee Enfield rifle. Like ‘Badass LEGO Guns’, however, the book features detailed parts lists and plans so you can quickly build the LEGO models found inside. Too bad this one doesn’t have a model that takes advantage of a motor for automatic fire. Maybe we’ll see something like that in the next book?
The American action movie is back in the form of ‘The Expendables 2’! At least, according to this fan made trailer it is. So do away with the tights and copious amounts of CGI, and instead watch ever major American action star of the past 40-odd years shoot and stab their way through a testosterone-packed orgy of violence and explosions that will satisfy even the most wanting action junkie!
The Expendables 2 drops in theaters August 17th, 2012.
Danger Close, the studio behind the yet-to-be-released Medal of Honor Warfighter, is not out to replicate the reality of combat for a Special Forces Operator but they are giving it a hell of a shot by teaming up with Special Operations veterans that have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. Veterans like Tyler, a former SF Soldier with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan who retired after being wounded in 2007. The studio won’t even release his last name in fear of compromising his identity. Tyler, along with a small team of veterans, is working behind the scenes with the developers to make this outing in the Medal of Honor series as authentic as possible for a game. When the developers want to know how to do a tactical reload, breach a door, or conduct a smooth weapons transition they ask Tyler and his team to demonstrate so that the designers can replicate it in the game. This striving for authenticity is a good thing in my eyes and it lends legitimacy to the game that others in the genre sorely lack. Asking for and seeking out the input and advice of combat veterans on a game that takes place on the modern battlefields that quite likely many of the game’s players fought on tells me that the developers actually care about the large community of game playing veterans. Keep it up, Danger Close. Medal of Honor Warfighter isn’t scheduled to be released 23 October but you can pre-order it now on the game site.
