Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018MANDY – Official Trailer
Saturday, June 30th, 2018Pacific Northwest. 1983 AD. Outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with fire.
It’s described as an action horror film. It looks like a trippy, bloody grindhouse film, and it stars Nicholas Cage. Sign me up.

Disney Imagineering Has Created Autonomous Robot Stunt Doubles
Friday, June 29th, 2018First Disney inadvertently creates the ultimate urban camo colors just so they can hide utility doors and building from guests at their parks, and now they’re making “autonomous robot stunt doubles”, which as we know will translate to parkour-enabled robot death squads when Skynet finally comes about.
DARPA GXV-T Demonstration Of Hybrid Wheel-Track
Monday, June 25th, 2018As part of DARPA’s Ground X-Vehicle Technologies program (GXV-T), a team from Carnegie Mellon University National Robotics Engineering Center created a hybrid wheel-track which can configure between a traditional round wheel and a triangular, tank-like track in seconds. The intent behind this design is to allow optimal mobility between hard and soft terrain as required, while still inside the same vehicle.
The Ground X-Vehicle Technologies program itself was launched to find ways to “improve mobility, survivability, safety, and effectiveness of future combat vehicles without piling on armor.”
You can read more about the GXV-T demonstration here.

World of Warplanes: Bruce Dickinson Diaries and “Aces High” Tribute
Monday, June 18th, 2018June 18, 2018 — World of Warplanes is proud to announce that Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson will host 10 online educational warplanes diaries. Launching today on Youtube this free-to-view series is set to be released weekly on the World of Warplanes official portal and YouTube channel across June, July and August, alongside an exclusive WoWP video tribute to the classic Iron Maiden song Aces High.
As an avid enthusiast of military aviation, pilot, and supporter of World of Warplanes’ dedication to historical accuracy, Bruce has recorded “The Bruce Dickinson Warplanes Diaries” about classic WW2 fighter and bomber aircraft such as the Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, and Messerschmitt Bf 109. As an extra treat for Maiden and Warplanes fans, WoWP have created, with many of the graphics from their in-game engine and some classic archive footage, a tribute video clip to the epic Aces High music video. Featuring many of the Battle of Britain planes that Bruce profiles in the series, viewers can see the machines really brought to life.
“We are all delighted that Bruce has brought his enthusiasm and expertise to World of Warplanes with these informative videos which he has delivered in his own inimitable style,” said Al King, Global Marketing Director at Wargaming, “As well as the diaries and the Aces High tribute, we are also introducing a renovated hangar subtly branded with iconic Iron Maiden imagery. It’s unlike anything the game’s ever had before and we hope Maiden fans will have fun spotting the various Easter eggs hidden throughout!”

DOOM: Eternal – E3 Teaser Trailer
Sunday, June 10th, 2018So the new Fallout may be an online-only disappointment, but at least we got this cool, pre-rendered trailer for DOOM: Eternal, the sequel to 2016’s DOOM reboot. Like the original DOOM 2, this game apparently takes place on Earth, after a demonic invasion. The developers promised a more powerful DOOM Slayer, as well as twice as many demons; you can notice the return of some classic enemies in this trailer, including the Pain Elemental, Aracnotron, and Archvile.
Stay tuned for a gameplay reveal of DOOM: Eternal at the upcoming QuakeCon 2018 on August 10th.
Tested – Adam Savage’s One Day Builds: 1000 Shot NERF Blaster
Friday, June 8th, 2018It seems like the Rival series blasters are the ones to build mods for, because here’s another capacity mod, this time courtesy of special effects designer and former co-host of Mythbusters Adam Savage. Within a single day, Adam not only creates a slick-looking, if bulky, 1000-shot magazine/hopper, but also installs a bipod and an offset electronic optic. It’s honestly like a NERF Bren, turned up to 11.
You can check out more of Tested’s videos on their YouTube channel.
The Wrong Goddamn Rec Room
Sunday, June 3rd, 2018Truly, Tremors is an American movie classic.
Miller Knives – Forging A Karambit From A Drill Bit
Friday, June 1st, 2018YouTube channel Miller Knives has released this video detailing a (fast forward) process for forging a karambit knife from an old drill bit. A bit of a warning: there’s a very sudden ad from about one minute in to about 1 minute, 45 seconds.
You can check out more of Miller Knives’ creations via their YouTube channel here.
Fallout 76 Teaser Trailer
Wednesday, May 30th, 2018A new Fallout title that’s not a mainline title in the series, and a teaser that provides very little info. A rumor is that the title will feature an online component, multiplayer, a renewed focus on the settlement building mechanic from Fallout 4. It’s even been called a Fallout themed Rust (an online player-versus-player survival video game) clone, according to some sources.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until this year’s E3 to see how much of these rumors are true.
TANK – A Short Film By Stu Maschwitz
Friday, May 25th, 2018Battlezone was a bit before my time, however I still played it extensively thanks to console ports of arcade games. Stu Maschwitz, of film effects software company Red Giant, created this short film called TANK, with visuals very much inspired by games like Battlezone. The retro aesthetic and great synth soundtrack make it a pretty good watch.

Battlefield V Reveal Trailer
Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018Call Of Duty: Black Ops IIII Multiplayer Reveal Trailer
Friday, May 18th, 2018In an attempt to keep up with popular trends, this year’s CoD is featuring a battle royale-style gamemode called Blackout, where a bunch of players hunt each other down on a massive map (look up PBUG or Fortnite videos for a general idea on how this concept works). The standard multiplayer elements do seem to be returning, however they’re completely omitting the traditional single player campaign for this one. Like most who have played CoD games in the past, I’ve spent way more time in MP than playing the campaign, but it still feels kinda wrong they’re omitting a story mode from a mainline release.
It’ll still do huge sales numbers, because it’s Call of Duty.
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII releases on October 12, 2018.
The Predators – Teaser Trailer
Saturday, May 12th, 2018It’s kinda funny: Shane Black was in the first Predator, now he’s written and is directing the latest movie in the franchise.
The Predators premiers in theaters September 14, 2018.

The Equalizer 2 – Official Trailer
Monday, April 23rd, 2018The first ‘The Equalizer’ was a 2014 movie staring Denzel Washington, and was based on the 1980s tv series of the same name. It’s a pretty entertaining film, so of course they decided to do a sequel.
It comes out July 20th, 2018.
Deadpool 2 Final Trailer
Thursday, April 19th, 2018This trailer features profanity, violence, and an amusing callback to a certain scene in X-Men Origins: Wolverine near the end.

Forming A Functionally Sharp Knife From Plastic Wrap
Tuesday, April 17th, 2018In a roundabout way, this shows that just about anything can be turned into a weapon.
Proving this point even further, the same video creator turned a hunk of dried fish into a knife.

How To Make Cardboad RPG Bazooka
Thursday, April 12th, 2018Cardboard weapon aficionado Blackfish has produced this video which shows how to make an RPG-7-inspired model out of cardboard. The best part? It actually shoots a projectile, which launches apart under spring tension when it hits a target.

Triple Nerf Rival Nemesis Modification | 1,200 Round Capacity
Monday, April 2nd, 2018I’m a simple guy; I see kick-ass mods to NERF blasters, I have to feature them. What YouTuber Coop772 has done is combined three NERF Rival Nemesis blasters, increased their power, and attached a 1200 round capacity hopper.
You can check out more of Coop772’s videos via his YouTube channel.
