Torry Pines Logic’s GPH-GSM Super-HERO Vision Gun Scope Adapter is a gun scope adapter for GoPro HERO 3+ cameras. It features an integral watertight plastic HERO 3 housing and requires no modifications to the original camera to work. The Super-HERO utilizes a “…sophisticated imaging formatting relay lens system and high quality optical prism to sample light from the scope and direct it towards the camera.” This allows the user to record full HD video through their gun scope without compromising the scope itself or its functionality. Great for reviewing target groups, documenting shot environment, or recording general performance.

Friday, January 17th, 2014TrackingPoint is expanding into the semi-auto realm with the new TrackingPoint 500 Series ARs, announced for 2014. Built upon the Daniel Defense DDM4 V7, the TrackingPoint AR utilizes the same Tag Track Xact technology as the bolt-action rifle scopes, but in a smaller frame. This allows for the user to make marked shots on targets traveling up to 10 mph out to 500 yards and utilize 2-12x magnification. Because of the integrated nature of the TrackingPoint system, it will only be available as a complete rifle w/ scope.
The rifles will be offered in offered in 7.62, .300 BLK, and 5.56 calibers. They are currently taking pre-orders. Delivery starts October 2014.

January 14, 2014 – Las Vegas, Nevada, United States – The KRISS Vector Enhanced Series is comprised of the Vector CRB and SBR models equipped with an M4 stock adaptor, Magpul UBR stock and MBUS flip sights. The scheduled release date for the Enhanced Series is set for Q2 with an MSRP targeted at $1,995.00.
The Magpul stock and MBUS sights give the Vector a similar feel to the ubiquitous AR-15. The stock adaptor, which makes the attachment of the UBR stock possible, will be available for sale separately and allows for a new avenue of customization for the Vector. Magpul MBUS Sights equipped on the Enhanced Series were designed specifically to match the Vector’s unique shape.
According to KRISS USA Marketing Manager Tim Seargeant, the Enhanced Series will feel familiar to more shooters, making it easier to adapt to the Vector’s futuristic design, and is now more customizable.
“The KRISS Super V technology inside the Vector is designed to enhance shooting performance by mitigating recoil forces. Magpul products aim to enhance shooting performance through external upgrades. The Vector with Magpul accessories is a great pairing.” Seargeant adds.

SHOT Show 2014 – Kel-Tec
Wednesday, January 15th, 2014Kel-Tec is releasing this bullpup rifle, the M43, next year. It’s a wood-and-metal variant of the brand new polymer RDB carbine, both chambered for 5.56. The M43’s design is intended to resemble 1940s firearms technology. It features an adjustable gas piston operation and full ambidextrous controls; brass ejects downward, behind the magazine. Unlike its polymer brother,the M43 features no rails and isn’t suppressor ready. Instead, it has folding iron sights to complement its wood handguard, pistol grip, and stock. Another small difference is the folding charging handle on the M43, compared to the fixed handle on the RDB.

Wednesday, January 15th, 2014Rhino Arms is currently showing off their new 12 gauge AR-15 pattern shotgun. It comes with a 10-round magazine coated in Rhino Skin, a proprietary grip coating; 5-round magazines are also available for restrictive areas. One of the coolest features of this weapon is it utilizes a .308 lower, meaning the 12 gauge upper can be swapped with a .308 upper and still maintain functionality. It comes standard with a carbon fiber or aluminum modular hand guard and Magpul CTR stock. Further options and packages will be available, including a .308/12 gauge combo package.

The receivers are forged by Black Rain from billet aluminum. The gas block is an adjustable low profile. The barrel is a 16″ stainless steel spiral fluted with 1:8 twist. It also features a 9″ quad rail fore end, BRO-DIT trigger, Magpul MOE grip, Magpul UBR stock, and MFS flash hider. Comes with a silver skull anodized finish.

The M-1 9mm comes standard with two 10-round Beretta 92FS magazines; additional 17-round magazines are also available. It comes with a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. The rifling consists of 6 grooves with a 1:10 twist rate. A synthetic bayonet lug is included. The M-1 utilizes a blow-back action. Available in wood and black synthetic.

The Field Case for the Mini is made from durable thermoplastic and features PMAG-style ribs for added grip. It’s essentially the same as the standard Field Case, simply made larger for the iPad Mini.
Available in Black, Gray, FDE, Foliage, OD Green, Orange, and Pink.
The Bump Case for the iPhone 5/5S is more durable option when compared to the standard Field Case. It features two-material construction, with an inner shock absorbing layer. Low profile PMAG-style side ribs add grip, and the single piece snap-on design makes for easy installation and removal.

It features a force-locking blowback action with a hammer lock, an Anschutz target barrel, and an adjustable trigger system from 3.3-5.5 lbs. Both the mag release and safety lever is ambidextrous. Flip-up back up iron sights come standard. The non-folding wooden stock has a holder and bushing for a sling swivel. The MSR RX 22 Precision comes standard with a 10-round magazine.

The 1-6×24 VCOG is a variable zoom optic with a first focal plane illuminated reticle. The housing is made from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. Powered by a single AA battery, the VCOG is capable of a constant on battery life of 700 hours at setting 4 of 6. An integrated magnification dialing fin makes it easy to switch from 1x to 6x magnification. Tested to MIL-STD-810G; waterproof up to 20 meters.

Trijicon also revealed they will be offering Cerakote coating as an option for select models of the ACOG, Reflex, and RMR in OD Green, FDE, and Sniper Gray.
Additionally, a representative at the Trijicon booth mentioned the possibility of a limited run of Glock slides in partnership with Zev Technologies, featuring the RMR optic.

Tuesday, January 14th, 2014The SHOT Show Media Day at the Range had a lot of great offerings, but S.W.O.R.D. International’s MK-18 Mod 0 ‘Mjölnir’ really stood out.
The Mjölnir is a semi-auto, gas piston rifle chambered for .338 Lapua. It features a 22″ Lothar Walther button rifled, black nitride coated barrel. The upper receiver is SWORD CNC machined out of 7075-T6 aluminum; proprietary lines reduce felt vibration, and a unique brass deflector kicks brass forward and away. The lower receiver is also SWORD CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The proprietary bolt carrier is black nitride coated. The Mjölnir also features a heavy buffer and return spring, non-reciprocating side charging handle, CMC enhanced 3.5lbs trigger, and full length free floating KeyMod rail system.
Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to shoot this beast – it was display only. There’s also plans to release a .308 variant further down the road.

Friday, January 18th, 2013The SIG MPX is a submachine gun designed to operate with a fully closed and locked rotating bolt system. It employs a gas-operated short stroke piston system and the bolt is held open on the last round fired. The MPX can be configured for three calibers, 9mm, .357SIG, and .40S&W, by swapping out for the appropriate barrel. An integral picatinny rail at 12 o’clock allows for the use of optics, including the SIG MPX reflex sight. The ambidextrous safety/selector switch and magazine release are quite reminiscent of the AR-style. The stock system is user-configurable, with options for a telescoping, pistol, or folding stock. Magazines comes in 10/20 or 30 round configurations. The MPX itself comes in five styles: MPX (standard), MPX-K (compact variant), MPX-P (pistol variant), MPX-SD (integrally suppressed), and MPX-C (carbine variant).
