European tactical clothing company HELIKON-TEX has announced that they plan to release their Combat Patrol Uniform, Combat Shirt, Combat Cap, Boonie Hat, and a parka design (to be released in the later half of 2013) in GreenZone, Badlands and Snowdrift versions of Penncott camouflage. The actual pieces won’t be shown until IWA & Outdoor Classics 2013 which is being held in Nuremberg, Germany March 8-11.

The MultiCam sheaths made by LBT for the SOG Voodoo Hawk LE have finally started shipping out. They’re made from nylon with a button snap closure and a belt loop. Featuring the Honor Camo pattern developed for Project Honor and EA’s Medal of Honor Warfighter video game, LBX Tactical’s new line of gear based on proven LBT Inc designs is shipping. There is a wide variety of items including two styles of chest rigs, two plate carriers, a holster and other accessory items as well Transporter and Light Strike packs.
The Camo Shawl-Collar Cardigan is part of Ralph Lauren’s ‘Denim & Supply’ line. It’s crafted from a 70% acrylic, 30% wool blend and colored in a woodland-esque camouflage pattern. Other features include a five-button front, rib-knit cuffs and hem, and rib-knit welt pockets at the waist. Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure somebody out there finds it appealing (and doesn’t mind the $185 US price tag).
Ralph Lauren – Camo Shawl-Collar Cardigan
RAG Industries, a Japanese producer/retailer of airsoft gear, has just released their RAG03 “PenCott Uniform”. The uniforms are made from milspec, vat-printed, 50/50 NYCO ripstop PenCott camouflage fabric. The “PU” has an abundance of enhanced tactical features, including large bicep pockets, side-opening chest pockets and slanted cargo pockets on the legs. As of now a Japan-exclusive, they’re running for approximately 230 USD.
Digital Concealment Systems, creator of the A-TACS family of camouflage patterns have signed a deal with Activision that includes the use of said camo patterns, currently A-TACS AU and A-TACS FG, in the just-released-today Call of Duty: Black Ops II. A-TACS is present in Black Ops II in the form of “…a playable option and integrated throughout different levels of the epic game.” This is most apparent in its use as an in-game gun camouflage.

This is the ‘Boot Camp collection’ of cloth diapers by Charlie Banana which will be available in stores later this year. They come in three camo patterns: Woodland, Snow, and Chocolate Chip. I know that cloth diapers are a somewhat strange thing to be covering, but hey, the patterns are pretty cool looking.
Southern Comfort is releasing this special bottle of their namesake liqueur to be sold exclusively on military bases. The red and tan pattern was designed to resemble the current camouflage pattern used in Afghanistan while retaining the brands distinct look and feel. It should be available on store shelves early next month.
The Brass Guard ‘Stark’ helmet is a mesh airsoft helmet. Its design allows for complete protection while maintaining visibility and ventilation. Various Velcro panels on the sides, front, and back allow for the attachment of morale patches and the like. The Stark is available in four colors: MultiCam, ACU, Black, and OD. Custom orders can also be placed for helmets in additional camo patterns and colors: Woodland, Cadpat, Tiger Stripe, Desert Marpat, with other options available upon request (pink helmet, anyone?).

Reebok will soon be supplementing the already wide range of color options for their CrossFit Nano 2.0 shoe with options for two digital camouflage patterned uppers. Both designs use a khaki-colored base, and feature either brown or green secondary tones. They’ll be available October 1st.
