The Closest Damn Thing To An April Fools Prank You’ll Get Outta Me: Duke Nukem Plays With Several Turds

Friday, April 1st, 2011

The title explains it all, except this ain’t really a joke, just completely immature toilet humor. Man, I totally hate to see this game being delayed a whole ‘nother month. Oh, NSFW and all that; you know the drill, it’s Duke after all.

Backcountry Intimacy Kit – A Little NSFW

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

While camping, it helps to be prepared for any variety of situations that could occur. The ‘Backcountry Intimacy Kit’ by Adventure Medical Kits takes this to the extreme. Included in the kit are lubricated condoms, packets of lubrication, wet wipes, compressed towels, and a disposable bag. The carrying pouch itself is zippered and waterproof. Basically everything you need to practice safe “intimacy” in the relative privacy of nature. I mean, what else are you going to use that tent for besides sleeping?

You can buy yours from mountaingear.com

The Gunny Does Bulletstorm Right

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

In case you didn’t know, Bulletstorm came out today. Sadly, I missed the launch party, so there won’t be any entertaining article about me standing outside in a sixty-person-long line for 2 1/2 hours. However, to make up for it, allow me to link to a couple of videos that perfectly demonstrate what Bulletstorm is all about. As a serious bonus, these videos star both R. Lee Ermey and Brian Posehn, who are both seriously hilarious. Seriously. I also must warn you these videos are definitely NSFW, due to rampant, creative swearing, hyper violence, and multiple references to Full Metal Jacket. Enjoy!

Duke Nukem At The 14th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

This is footage from the opening video at the 14th annual Interactive Achievement Awards. In it, a series of Chuck Norris-esque jokes precede Duke’s appearance, which is in turn interrupted by Claptrap from Borderlands, another Gearbox Software title (BTW, it’s CL4P-TP for your purists out there). Claptrap happens to be in charge of Duke’s PR, and claims he has to be more like the popular games of recent times. Of course, Duke has a response to everyone of Claptrap’s claims, with amusing results. Also, it’s a little NSFW. You have been warned.

How Everything Goes To Hell During A Zombie Apocalypse

The above link leads to a comic detailing the common problems that lead up to, and during, a zombie apocalypse. Not only is this hilarious, but it’s also available for sale as a poster. I definitely want one!

NSFW – Hail To the King, Baby!

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Finally, the wait is over! Well, almost. May 3rd shows the release of the much anticipated Duke Nukem Forever. A well-known source of amusement on the internet due to its constant delays over a developmental period of 10+ years, it was always thought of as nothing more than vaporwear. The final blow seemed to be in 2009 when 3D Realms finally let go of development for various reasons. But now, thanks to 2K Games and Gearbox, we’ll finally see this legendary series return. Now, it’s a bit painful to have to wait even just a little over four months for release day, I know, but if this trailer is any indication of what’s to come, then the wait is well worth it.

Just a reminder: If the title of this article did not give it away, this is DEFINITELY NSFW!

NSFW – Trashtalking Doesn’t Work in Real Life It Seems

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Rooster Teeth, creators of the popular Machinima franchise Red Vs. Blue has recently started a new series they call Immersion, where they introduce video game-related situations to real life scenarios. In one video, they introduce ‘Shane’, a 13 year special operations veteran, who proceeds to fire ten rounds at a target 100 yards out. Afterward, he repeats this exercise, but with the addition of simulated multiplayer trashtalking and all the swearing, name calling, and general annoyance that comes with it, courtesy of the Mega 64 crew.

It’s hilarious stuff, but if the title didn’t give it away, it’s not something you’ll want to view in the work place or near those with sensitive ears. Click at your own risk: Immersion: Online Gaming Distractions

‘Downfall’ Of The ACR

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Now over a year old, the ‘Hitler Downfall’ meme is pretty dead, and so was this vid as far as we knew. YouTube at one point had pulled all of the videos, including this one. It was used to lampoon all sorts of stuff but it’s a rare situation when the subject being parodied had to do with the tactical industry. We originally posted it around SHOT Show last year when the ACR was finally released to a market weary of a rough economy and high priced guns. On that note, behold as Hitler rages about the ACR’s high price point! Everyone was up in arms about it back then but now a year later, accepts the price as part of doing business. Hope this gets your SHOT Show juices flowing, but beware, the subtitles are NSFW.

The video is also available on Youtube in a higher quality, but isn’t availabe for embedding. You can watch it here.
