System Shock Remake Pre-Alpha Footage
Thursday, March 17th, 2016While still a great game, and honestly still scary, System Shock hasn’t aged that well in the visual department, which is why it’s pretty cool Night Dive Studios is remaking the original game.

Vote On The Reverse Cover Sleeve For DOOM
Thursday, March 3rd, 2016The new DOOM looks like it’s shaping up to be a pretty good re-imagining of the classic FPS series. Unfortunately, as is the case with a lot of games, they’re providing a generic ‘guy in power armor with a weapon’ game sleeve cover (seen above), because apparently market research shows that’s the best way to target the most consumers.
However, the official DOOM Twitter account is currently hosting a poll for fans to pick between one of two reverse sleeve covers, which are infinitely better than the standard option:
Choice A
Choice B
Choice B, a tribute to the original DOOM cover art, and my personal favorite of the two, is currently leading in the polls. The best case would obviously be we got both A and B, and the got rid of the current cover, but it is what it is.

Fallout – Nuka Cola Quantum
Friday, October 30th, 2015Last week, I wrote that the UK is getting an exclusive licensed Fallout beer. Well, the US isn’t being completely left out of the exclusive beverage game, because US Target stores will be exclusively carrying Nuka Cola Quantum starting November 10th, the day Fallout 4 launches. One character in Fallout 3 described Nuka Cola Quantum as “Drinking a Nuka-Cola, then downing a fistful of sugar, and punching yourself in the head.”, which given this is actually a repackaged Jones Soda Blue Lemonade flavor, might not be an inaccurate statement.
