It’s a good read, detailing the cost and methods behind procuring and installing the necessary components to make the DL-44 replica as movie accurate as possible. Now the question is, who’s willing to track down a Sterling SMG and make it into a convincing, live firing E-11 replica?

The newest Batman v Superman trailer does a decent job of hyping up the movie, however it also spoils some crucial plot points, as most modern trailers do. Insignificant Fish Industries has created a 4.4 oz flask called the “First Shot” based on Han Solo’s DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. The silver muzzle is the flask’s cap and unscrews to be a 1.5oz shot glass. As of now, it is an unlicensed product, so it’s technically unavailable, but here’s to hoping it gets the go ahead for actual production sometime down the line.
