Darwin Aerospace has found a more unique use for drone aircraft: the speedy delivery of delicious burritos. Sadly, the earliest we’re likely to see this as a commercial product is 2015, as the FAA is required to introduce regulations on commercial drones by September of that year. Further details can be found at this page: http://www.darwinaerospace.com/burritobomber

Thursday, December 13th, 2012

Winnifred Beach has created possibly the only bathrobe that’s suitable for safari, or at least looks the part. It features a brushed cotton-twill exterior with a cotton-terry lining, two large side cargo pockets (able to fit an iPad), two chest pockets with Velcro flaps, one waist-high utility pocket (able to fit an iPhone), and one utility pocket on the left arm with Velcro flap. KRU82 Vodka

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

I stopped by the liquor store today (don’t judge) and noticed these bottles of KRU82 vodka on the shelf. As you can see, they’re metallic, shatterproof bottles with resealable caps and black straps with metal carabiners attached, and they go up to 1.75L in size. If one were so inclined, the container could make a handy emergency survival bottle, provided one had the foresight to bring a bottle of vodka with them while “…hiking, fishing, sailing, skiing or whatever…”

Camo Shawl-Collar Cardigan

Wednesday, November 28th, 2012

The Camo Shawl-Collar Cardigan is part of Ralph Lauren’s ‘Denim & Supply’ line. It’s crafted from a 70% acrylic, 30% wool blend and colored in a woodland-esque camouflage pattern. Other features include a five-button front, rib-knit cuffs and hem, and rib-knit welt pockets at the waist. Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure somebody out there finds it appealing (and doesn’t mind the $185 US price tag).
