The above photo is of one of their 1:18 scale weapons meant for 4″ figurines, which already shows an impressive level of detail for its size. VSSL Flask Light On Kickstarter
April 15th, 2015Last August, I wrote about the VSSL (pronounced like the word vessel), a hollow Aluminum tube for storing survival and outdoor items in, with an LED flashlight at the end; a bit like one of those old school large-sized Maglights, but with a hollow handle for storing items instead of batteries.
Since then, VSSL has planed an expansion to their line of hollow body flashlights with the Flask Light. Made of food-grade stainless steel rather than the aluminum of the original VSSL flashlight, the Flask Light is a multi-compartment system which consists of a compass end cap, a 10 oz. liquid container, a hidden compartment with two collapsible shot glasses and a bottle opener, and of course the dual mode LED flashlight.
The finalized VSSL Flash Light will be available with either a matte green or polished steel exterior.

A reader has sent in info on an interesting camouflage shirt they procured at the Tahoe Hemp Company in Tahoe, CA. The shirt is made of 55/45 Hemp/Organic Cotton, hand-dyed by Divine Tribe in their proprietary Cannaflage pattern. The camo itself is reminiscent of digital Woodland, with cannabis leaves interspersed within the pattern. The reader claims the heavy, natural fibers allow the shirt to work well as a base layer, and although it took several washings to cut down on the scratchy texture, the shirt keeps warm when its cool, cool when its warm, and has great moisture wicking attributes.

The Deadpool Movie Is Officially Rated ‘R’
April 2nd, 2015Sorry to spoil everything at the title, but April Fool’s was yesterday. Anyway, Ryan Reynolds tweeted that the upcoming ‘Deadpool’ movie was going to be PG-13, but then made an appearance on ‘Extra’ to more or less clarify that it’s actually going to receive an ‘R’ rating.
‘Deadpool’ is slated for a February 12, 2016 release.

Too bad the characters aren’t more reminiscent of the original ‘supermarionation’ style, but the live-action sets are on point. Plus, it still beats the pants off of that crappy ‘Thunderbirds’ movie released back in ’04.
‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ debuts on April 5th in the UK, and April 12th in Australia, with no word on a US release (yet).
Dillinger Corp – Dillinger ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’ T-Shirt

Dillinger Corp is a recently established UK-based company which produces “independent lifestyle clothing and goods.” Their first product is the limited edition ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’ t-shirt, inspired by the notorious bank robber John H Dillinger. Printed on the front of shirt is an illustration of John’s Remington .41 Double Derringer pistol, with his last words, “Bye Bye Blackbird”, engraved on the barrel. The shirt itself is 100% ringspun cotton, colored black. Available in sizes SM-XXL.
Dillinger Corp’s full product launch is later this year, Spring/Summer.
