San Diego, CA – July 29, 2015 – DPx Gear, Inc. has released the new monoblock frame gentleman’s knife, the DPx Aculus 3D. It is available in a limited run of 100 pieces available exclusively from DPx Gear and ready for immediate shipment.
The DPx Aculus is a hard use gentleman’s knife carved from a single block of 6Al4v titanium alloy. Designed by adventurer Robert Young Pelton after seeing the poor quality and limited strength of traditional military and law enforcement knives, he decided to create an incredibly strong and compact knife. The Aculus is an every day carry tool with beautifully fluid lines, exquisite ergonomics, and a tough blade of the highest quality and finish. The frame is a single seamless machined piece of art, elegantly held together with only two screws. The Aculus was designed for undercover work, where professionals must dress in formal wear but must carry tools that cannot fail. The ergonomics had to work as a knife but also as a concealed hand held tool capable of dealing non-lethal pain to attackers.
The DPx Aculus 3D features a unique 3D diamond pattern for superior grip, a tungsten carbide glass breaker with replacement flat head screw, a deep carry pocket clip, razor sharp Niolox tool steel, and DPx Gear’s no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. MSRP for the DPx Aculus 3D is $400 and can be purchased only by visiting www.dpxgear.com/aculus.

With Fallout 4 coming out this November, there’s still time to play the previous games to catch up with the series: Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. With this in mind, Bethesda Softworks is releasing the Fallout Anthology collection, which contains Windows-compatible versions of the five previous games all contained within a mini nuke case with audible bomb sound. Best of all, there’s a space reserved for a copy of Fallout 4, when it releases.
Available for pre-order direct from Bethesda, or through various retailers.

Shinesty’s Rogue Gentleman Camo Dress Suit is 100% polyester composite, and features a camo pattern which will allow you to blend into a wooded environment while looking sharply dressed; sorry to say in the business world you’d stick out like a sore thumb, but, hey, you can’t win ’em all.
Massdrop is a crowd-based sales platform where users vote on commercial items to be featured on the site, based on a category such as ‘Espresso machine’ or ‘Tactical backpack’. Once voting narrows down to just one item, Massdrop contacts the manufacturer and looks to set up a ‘Massdrop’, which aims to offer bulk pricing to the masses while only requiring they buy one each. As true of a traditional bulk pricing model, the more items sold, the lower the price for all.
This time, the chosen knife is the KA-BAR Zombro Knife. It features a ~9″ 1095 cro-van steel blade with a Kraton zombie-green handle. It’s going for $49.99+S&H through Massdrop, with an MSRP of $137.97. It’s only got about a week left, so if you’re interested you should jump on this deal.

Gentle Giant had an impressive list of exclusives at this year’s SDCC, including this 12″ G.I. Joe ‘Grunt’ figure.
Essentially an upscaled model of the original ‘Grunt’ 3.75″ figure, this particular figure came in a sturdy wooden lock box.
Inside, the figure is stored in a cushioned cutout, with his backpack, helmet, and service rifle on the opposite side. An awesome addition to any G.I. Joe fan’s collection.
Surprise, surprise! The Suicide Squad trailer got leaked from Comic-Con, prompting Warner Bros. to officially release it.
Anyway, I’m actually liking this quite a bit more than the Batman v. Superman trailer, and although I still think Leto’s Joker’s appearance is a bit off, the acting looks to be spot-on.
As an aside, the Deadpool trailer also got leaked, and although I won’t be linking it here, you can find it with a bit of Google-fu. It’s absolutely perfect in every way, and takes a lot of cues from the script that was leaked a couple of years back; even Colossus is in it! Ryan Reynolds tweeted that it will see an official release in about 3 weeks, because they have to finalize the VFX first, but other sources state it’ll be up later this week. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Dark Horse is doing a Black Ops III prequel comic.
They were giving away a free preview at the show. It’s pretty interesting: the special operatives talk in a weird future slang, and new yen is a currency (Shadowrun, much?). I’m curious to see how the full comic pans out when it gets released later this year.
Even more so now that this trailer is out, I can’t see Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, I just see Ben Affleck. The darker Batman is kinda neat, though. And “Lex” has too much hair.
At the off-site Xbox Lounge, among the various games on display, is a playable demo of the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division; the same demo that was available at this year’s E3. Unfortunately, recording any gameplay footage was not allowed, however I can say that aside from being part of an obvious beta build, it is a solid game that expectedly takes a lot of design cues from the Ghost Recon series. so if you’ve played the Advanced Warfighter games, or the more recent Future Soldier, you’ll have a good idea on what to expect gameplay-wise.
The newest line of NERF blasters and melee weapons, Doomlands is looking really damn cool. Themed around a sort of apocalyptic Western setting takes place in the year 2169, the line is set to release starting August. The line consists of:
