Rogue One was pretty great, and one of its best characters is K-2SO, the reprogrammed Imperial security droid with the snarky attitude. For those of us to whom money is no object, Sideshow Collectables is releasing a “life size” K-2SO figurine for you to proudly display in your location of choice. And when they say “life size”, they mean it; K-2SO stands at 94″ (~8 ft.) tall, and features weathered and detailed armor, red and yellow details on his shoulders and panels, and an Empire logo on his shoulder. The statue is made of fiberglass, resin, and non-descript metal, with a poseable head and light-up eyes.
This is (understandably) a limited edition piece, with a hefty price tag of… wait for it… $8900. But, luckily for any prospective buyers, there’s an affordable payment plan; just $801 a month, and, get this, the shipping is free!
This is one of those products that is just crazy enough that it has to be mentioned. It happens to be a comically oversized Mjölnir, specifically a foam prop based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe depiction of Thor’s legendary hammer. Weighing in at 20 lbs., featuring dimensions of 25.4″ x 16.8″ x 47.8″, this prop is fairly hefty for a foam piece, with a hefty price to match: $249.99.
If you’re wondering who Ludens, AKA (The Playing Man) is, he’s the current Kojima Productions mascot, created to replace the Foxhound logo after the studio’s split from Konami; Hideo Kojima, namesake of the studio, is the mastermind behind the Metal Gear video game series. The Ludens figure is the creation of Hong Kong-based Sentinel Toys. Highly detailed in its construction, this figure utilizes a specially-designed inner frame, providing Ludens with 46 points of articulation, and an EVA suit made of ABS, PVC and real cloth. Additional features include light up functions, moving eyes, a smoke visor to replace the standard clear visor, a lance, beam flag, and three sets of hands.
Currently available for pre-order from D4 Toys, with an expected release date of March 2018.

Bandai’s latest update to the Marvel Manga Realization series is a Samurai’d War Machine. This highly detailed and articulated figurine comes in at 6.9″ tall, and comes with 2 Pairs of optional hands, a katana, backpack, and stand. What I love most about this figure is the flintlock cannon and volley gun; period appropriate firearms to be sure, but man, that recoil and heft.
Rick and Morty season 3 is now over, but the merchandise continues to come out. Such is the case with this life sized replica portal gun from the series, made by Funko. It’s up for pre-order, and will be made available this coming December.
Did you know there was a RoboCop animated series? Yeah, pretty crazy, right? Well, this figure isn’t from that. Rather, it’s based on the Ultimate Future RoboCop from the Frank Miller comic RoboCop vs. The Terminator. The figure is 7 inches, features over 25 points of articulation, and comes with his standard Auto 9 pistol as an accessory; y’know, along with all the missiles and the minigun.

Anovos is releasing a plush toy of the Mirror Universe Tribble from Star Trek. With all the multiplacative ability of the regular universe Tribble, but with the addition of pointy teeth, these Tribbles are nasty, with black and red fur, and they happen to love Klingons. Sadly, they aren’t rocking a goatee, but it is what it is.
The Mirror Universe Tribble will be available starting next month (which is only a couple days away).
Hot Toys has another impressive-looking Star Wars 1/6 scale figurine coming out, this time of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, as he appeared in ‘A New Hope’. This figure features a newly developed head scuplt, a remarkable likeness of actor Peter Cushing, along with a cloth Imperial uniform, and Tarkin’s high back chair.
We are currently living in a world where a company created an action figure based on a set of cosplay armor inspired by unarguably the most popular space fantasy series of all time.
Neat.
Based on Ryan B. Flowers’ GALAC-TAC, Mandalorian-inspired armor, this figure from Green Wolf Gear comes wearing a set of GALAC-TAC armor, with a launcher, and a combat uniform very clearly inspired by Crye’s G3 uniform set.

I was on Reddit earlier today, and happened upon this .gif of a RC Hexapod modified with a Thomas the Tank Engine turret, complete with a working flamethrower. To be blunt, I found it hilarious, and thankfully the source was provided in the thread, which can be seen above.
It’s a product of YouTube channel PeterSripol, who modified the original Hexapod into the monstrosity it now is.
For Christmas last year, BE Myers & Co., Inc sent out custom brick figures configured as MAWL Man to commemorate the launch of their weapon laser. Armed with a MAWL-DA on top of a suppressed MK18, MAWL Man also sports a pistol, knife, plate carrier and full loadout.
These proved so popular in social media that they decided to offer them for sale in order to raise funds for their favorite charity, SOC-F.
Get your MAWL Man from Weapon Outfitters and share photos of him in action by joining the MAWL Man Militia on Facebook.

No, Marvel isn’t doing a series of tacticool re-imagining figures of their classic franchise characters. Rather, this is an Agent Venom figurine under the Kotobukiya ARTFX+ line. Long story short, Flash Thompson has the Venom symbiote and he’s using it to fight America’s enemies as a special agent. Anyway, this highly detailed and poseable figurine is currently available for pre-order.
Anyway, the Star Wars Rogue One Rapid Fire Imperial AT-ACT Vehicle is a (very clearly) Kenner-inspired toy set; it really looks like it was manufactured in the 70s. The All Terrain Armored Cargo Transport comes complete with firing projectiles, a removable cargo bay playset, and three 3 3/4″ figures: C2-B5, Jyn Erso, and an Imperial AT-ACT driver. If that isn’t enough, it’s also controllable with your smartphone. Neat.
I was at a certain video game-centric retailer picking up a copy of Infinite Warfare today, and while I was checking out I noticed the above blind pick collectable boxes for sale. This one, which comes from a company called Tier1 Accessories, consists of a line of Zinc Alloy miniatures of some of the weapons from TitanFall 2; to be exact, 5 pilot weapons, or a titan weapon, which in this case would be the Ronin titan’s sword.
I got the above sniper rifle, which is cool. I really, really wanted that sword, but they aren’t called “blind pick” for nothing.
If you can’t find these in your area, they’re also available for purchase from the link below.
