Sunday, March 6th, 2016An Update On The Red Bull Class Action Settlement
Sunday, February 14th, 2016Back in October 2014, I wrote a brief article about a class action lawsuit being conducted against Red Bull, and the resulting settlement that you could claim if you qualified as a purchaser of Red Bull products. I put my own claim form in around that time, and eventually it faded from my memory.
Well, yesterday, I received the above package, and was a bit confused about its origin until I opened it up and found a 4-pack of 8.4 oz. cans of regular Red Bull.
Comparatively, EOTech is pretty quick on getting those refunds out on their Holographic Sights.

Massdrop – Tactical Christmas Stockings
Sunday, November 29th, 2015Massdrop is currently having a deal on “Tactical” Christmas Stockings. The stocking itself isn’t new (I have a story on one from last year, and they’ve been around for even longer than that), but the 25%-off MSRP might be an attractive buy to some interested parties. They’re available in Black, Gray, or Tati-Claus Red.
Oh, and you’ll need a Massdrop account to see the page and actually make a purchase, so here’s a screenshot which should serve as a sufficient preview:
if Industries – “First Shot” DL4.4oz Blaster Flask
Monday, November 16th, 2015Insignificant Fish Industries has created a 4.4 oz flask called the “First Shot” based on Han Solo’s DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. The silver muzzle is the flask’s cap and unscrews to be a 1.5oz shot glass. As of now, it is an unlicensed product, so it’s technically unavailable, but here’s to hoping it gets the go ahead for actual production sometime down the line.

Thursday, September 17th, 2015Hackertyper.net
Sunday, August 2nd, 2015Y’know how in Hollywood movies and tv shows where some goober pounds randomly on a keyboard and somehow they produce a long string of code, or hack into a secret Government installation’s computer network? Well, that’s bunk, but don’t fret! There’s a website which allows you to mirror the skills of the greatest of Hollywood hackers. Just pound on your keyboard and long strings of code appear on demand.
Daredevil – Elektra Fight Scene
Wednesday, July 8th, 2015I wanted to start out my journey to SDDC with a terrible scene from a terrible comic book movie best forgotten: Daredevil.
A few things to note:
1) Yes, it’s even worse than you remember.
2) This is the guy who’s playing Batman.
3) Thankfully, there’s a far superior Daredevil series on Netflix to bleach your eyes with after watching this travesty…

Cannaflage
Tuesday, April 14th, 2015A reader has sent in info on an interesting camouflage shirt they procured at the Tahoe Hemp Company in Tahoe, CA. The shirt is made of 55/45 Hemp/Organic Cotton, hand-dyed by Divine Tribe in their proprietary Cannaflage pattern. The camo itself is reminiscent of digital Woodland, with cannabis leaves interspersed within the pattern. The reader claims the heavy, natural fibers allow the shirt to work well as a base layer, and although it took several washings to cut down on the scratchy texture, the shirt keeps warm when its cool, cool when its warm, and has great moisture wicking attributes.
Thanks to ‘JL’ for the tip and pics!

It features an integrated squeeker, which all dogs love. Although it is made from a durable material, RE Factor states it’s an interactive toy for both dog and owner, and isn’t designed for the sole purpose of chewing. For additional fun, you can pair it with the Pig Sticker Dog Toy, which if you haven’t guessed, is a knife-shaped dog toy.
Made in the USA.
