Versace – Greca Rhegis Boots

Everyone: the combat boot has gone Guuci! Well, technically this ain’t Gucci, but rather rival Italian luxury fashion brand Versace. All the same, this is a $1100 pair of “combat boots” (no word on Pro Deal pricing as of the time of writing) that probably ain’t good for anything else other than announcing to the world that you’re wearing an $1100 pair of “combat boots”. Details are fairly scarce on the product page, but what is revealed is the following:

– Outer fabric: 100% leather
– Lining: 100% leather
– Sole: 100% Rubber
– Made in Italy

They’re also lace up style boots, and have an embossed logo. Oh, and there’s a nifty little Easter Egg of sorts on the sole: those numbers? Coordinates, to the plaza in front of the Milan Cathedral. Not sure if that’s a standard flair of Versace goods, but neat nonetheless.

Plus, if you’re not digging the vaguely desert-ish “neutrals” colorway, you’re not lacking in color options; you can always pick the White or Black option instead.

Apex Announces New Hellcat Trigger

Umarex – REKT OpFour CO2 Powered Dart Rifle

The REKT OpFour Dart Rifle from Umarex is fairly unique when compared to other dart blasters, since it uses two 12 gram CO2 cartridges to propel its darts, rather than a spring like many of its contemporaries. Modeled after an AR-15, the Dart Blaster features similar furniture, with a collapsible stock, A2-style grip, functioning irons, and a Knights-style foregrip that also serves as the pump-action charging handle. The Dart Blaster comes with a 12-round magazine that feeds REKT foam darts; the magazine looks vaguely like a NERF N-Strike mag, and the darts themselves are supposed to work with a variety of dart blasters.

True to its name, the REKT OpFour series dart guns come in two colors – red and blue, much like NERF’s Rival series – for team play; or, if you prefer one color over the other.

    Smith & Wesson – Performance Center M&P 9 Shield EZ

    For those of you unfamiliar with the M&P 9 SHIELD EZ, it’s a 9mm variant of the single-stack SHIELD EZ line of pistols, which are designed for ease of use for inexperienced shooters and those with weaker grip strength. And for those who are unaware of S&W’s Performance Center line, they’re variants of existing S&W firearms, featuring several factory-installed upgrades that are analogous to those that are common on the after-market, such as additional side milling, upgraded sights, and high-performance parts coatings.

    Combine the two and you get the Performance Center M&P 9 SHIELD EZ. This particular variant features a barrel coated in TiN (Titanium Nitride), giving it a striking gold appearance and increased lubricity and wear resistance, with the aluminum trigger and grip safety given a similarly gold anodized finish.     The Hacksmith – Predator Thermal Vision Helmet

    YouTube Channel The Hacksmith created a thermal vision helmet inspired by the ones worn by the Predators/Yautja from the series of the same name. They accomplished this by utilizing several off-the-shelf camera and computer components, including a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal censor pulled from a FLIR ONE Pro thermal imaging camera, and mating them to a Zeiss Cinemizer headset, all mounted within a Predator-themed motorcycle helmet cover. However, they didn’t stop there, as they also utilized a Wicked Lasers LaserCube with a custom 3D-printed shoulder mount to replicate the Predator’s laser cannon. The end result is a working helmet that can switch between various vision modes, and a shoulder-mounted laser that projects a triangular reticle, and can pop balloons almost instantly; in short, it’s pretty damn cool.

    Pvt Murphy limited edition Toy Figure On Kickstarter

    Mark Baker, celebrated cartoonist and creator of the comic ‘Pvt Murphy’, has started a Kickstarter campaign for a Pvt Murphy collectable figure. Not too much info on this one as it’s currently presented, other than the figure is planned to be 3″ in height, and will hopefully be the first of many figures, depending on the success of this campaign. ‘Pvt Murphy’ is a fantastic comic, and we here at Fanboy wish Mark Baker the best of luck for fulfilling his dream of making Pvt Murphy into a toy.

    Prometheus Design Werx – Ti-FS Mk2 Survival Lighter

    A durable and reliable lighter is a major boon to any survival or outdoors kit, and Prometheus Design Werx’s Ti-FS Mk2 Survival Lighter is designed to handily fulfill that role. The Mk2 features an 6AL-4V titanium chassis, with a stonewashed tumble and bead peened finish, and a plated brass lighter core.

    The exterior is clearly modeled after the WWII-era Mk 2 ‘pineapple’ grenade – which also lends towards the lighter’s name – which provides a better grip surface for cold/wet conditions. The lighter is weather-resistant, with an o-ring seal to keep moisture out of the interior.

    The Mk2 comes packaged in a reusable survival tin with extra flints, a spare wick, and two extra o-rings.

    Nerf Ultra Two Motorized Blaster

    The NERF Ultra Two is part of Hasbro’s latest line of NERF blasters, named after their new “Farthest flying NERF darts ever!”, the Ultra dart. The blaster is battery powered, and fires from an enclosed, rear-mounted “fast-back” 6-dart cylinder. To fire, you hold down an acceleration button which powers the on-board motor, then the trigger to fire a dart. This blaster also features a nondescript accessory rail along the 12 and 6 o’clock positions of the frame, however none of the official product descriptions note whether these rails are compatible with existing NERF N-Strike accessories, however given how similar the rails look, I’d hazard a guess and say, yes, they do.

    The Ultra dart itself features a new aerodynamic design, with stabilizing “Aerofin Technology” on the rear of the dart, along with a segmented lightweight foam and a newly designed flight tip. According to Hasbro, these darts are capable of firing out to 120 ft (or 36m for our international friends), although results may vary.

    High Speed Gear Releases Two New Duty TACOs

    SWANSBORO, N.C. – May 27, 2020 – High Speed Gear® recently expanded its duty line of gear with two new products, the Duty Triple Pistol TACO® and the Duty Double Pistol TACO® – Covered Plus.

    Sideshow Collectables – Hot Toys IG-11 1/6 Scale Collectable Figure

    ‘The Mandalorian’ is, save ‘Rogue One’, the only salvageable thing to come out of Disney’s acquisition of the Star Wars property. That’s why it’s actually worth taking a look at Sideshow Collectables and Hot Toy’s IG-11 1/6 Scale figurine. Based on the IG-11 Bounty Hunter droid featured as a character in ‘The Mandalorian’, the IG-11 figurine comes in at roughly 14″ tall, with over 29 points of articulation, including an enhanced waist articulation which allows for a full 360 degree spin, just like in the show. The metallic grayish-black armor exterior is painted with accurate weather effects, and molded with precise pipe and wire details, and the mechanical head piece features LED light-up function. The IG-88 figure comes complete with the following accessories:

  • One (1) pair of articulated mechanical graspers
  • One (1) heavy blaster
  • One (1) blaster rifle
  • One (1) leather-like double shoulder belt with ammo pouches
  • Specially designed desert-themed figure stand with Star Wars logo and character nameplate
