In this video, SilencerCo addresses some common misconceptions about how effective suppressors truly are at reducing sound report, based on their oftentimes Hollywood-esque portrayal in modern video games.
While I’ve seen all of ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Luke Cage’, I didn’t watch any of ‘Jessica Jones’, and I only made it through episode 4 of ‘Iron Fist’. Still, even with only having seen a little over half of the Netflix Marvel series, it’s not hard to get at least a bit excited about the upcoming ‘The Defenders’ teamup series. As a bonus, it has the same showrunner as ‘Daredevil’ Season 2, Marco Ramirez, so there’s a better chance it’s more on the ‘Daredevil’ side of quality, and less on the ‘Iron Fist’ side.
All episodes of ‘The Defenders’ will be available on Netflix starting August 18th, 2017.
Tokyo Mauri has been offering Biohazard/Resident Evil-licensed airsoft guns for quite some time now, and they’ll be expanding those offerings with the release of the Albert 02 replica from the upcoming ‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’ DLC, ‘Not A Hero’. The Albert 02 is a combat shotgun that will be wielded by series regular Chris Redfield (or is he?). It looks like the 3-way love child of a SCAR, USAS-12, and the forend of a Warsport LVOA.
The Albert 02 is itself derived from Tokyo Mauri’s ‘Thor’s Hammer’, which is an original airsoft gun created in-house by their design team, and not directly modeled after any real world firearms.
Look forward to seeing the Albert 02 airsoft replica when it releases this Summer, and the ‘Not A Hero’ DLC when it releases.

If you are looking for the ultimate accessory for your man cave or office, this BAR Floor Lamp I spotted in the Ohio Ordnance booth is just what you need.
These limited edition lamps are just five of a run of 10 and each one is serialized “x of 10.” They are really cool. The Trigger actually functions as the on/off switch and includes working sights/safety/mag release/bipod. The Barrels are 1944 dated and the base is fashioned into the Ohio Ordnance logo. Finally, this piece of art is signature engraved.
Brace yourself. The cost is $6500, but they are manufactured from actual BAR parts and not plastic lookalikes.

David totally bombed the Engineer homeworld with the Black Fluid, didn’t he?
JL Billet has developed what they’ve dubbed the ‘Forward Fist’, a vertical grip for M-LOK-spec rails which is designed to look like a pair of brass knuckles. Made of aircraft grade billet aluminum, the Forward Fist is, according to the company, comfortable and ergonomic. It will soon be offered in KeyMod, as well.

Call of Duty: WWII’s reveal trailer dropped today, offering a blend of ‘Saving Private Ryan’ and ‘Band of Brothers’ mixed with shiny graphics. The reveal itself was pretty bare, as expected, giving virtually no details on the multiplayer, but Nazi Zombies was confirmed, which is great if you’re into that sort of thing. With E3 being as close as it is, they’ll be sure to reveal more WWII info at that show.
Supposedly, the campaign will be devoid of regenerating health, rather requiring players to seek out a squad medic for healing, and ammo has to be requested from squad mates. Classic WWII weapons such as the M1 Garand, M1903 Springfield, M3 Grease Gun, MG42, and StG 44 were all confirmed either by footage or developer mention, which is obvious, and more weapons are guaranteed to follow as info becomes more available.
Call of Duty: WWII released November 3rd, 2017.
Kingsman – members are named after knights in Authurian legend; makes sense.
Statesman – members are named after different brands/types of alcohol… ok.
Still, the first movie was pure gold, and if the sequel has the same level of polish, it’s sure to be a hit.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle releases September 22, 2017.

The Purpose Shirt features Tac Flow 2.0 fabric, a lightweight, quick-dry fabric that is designed for continuous movement and breathability. The Precision Shirt includes a stain resistant coating to resist oil, water and stains, while the Verity Shirt features plaid fabric to reduce imprinting and breakaway snap plackets to allow for quick access. A new polo in the line called the Cool React Polo features a sweat activated technology on the interior of the fabric, which creates a cooling sensation keeping you both cool and dry.
In addition to these items, two jackets and a pair of pants will also be available. The garments are designed for operators and personnel who demand a reliable blend of function and security. The balance of the 2017 apparel line is designed to make every-day concealed carry more comfortable with well-designed features and innovative fabrics. Non-printing casual shirts and polos are designed for daily wear and to retain BLACKHAWK! functionality.

OK, so it’s not like it wasn’t already ‘confirmed’ last month, but this is an ‘official’ confirmation. Next Wednesday, 4/26, is the official reveal; a bit earlier than E3, but, hey, who’s gonna complain?
Based on years past, we should see some early footage next week at the reveal, followed by campaign footage at E3 2017 (edited ‘in the interest of time’), and finally an official multiplayer reveal sometime afterwards, followed by the standard November release.
As long as the characters in the movie recognize that a rear sight doesn’t sit on the eyebrow, then it’ll be just fine.
Melville, NY (April 19, 2017) – Nikon Sport Optics has officially announced the introduction of its highly anticipated binocular with a built-in 1900-yard laser rangefinder. The new LaserForce rangefinder binocular combines superior optical quality, ergonomic single-hand control, technologically enhanced features and a 100% backing with Nikon’s No-Fault Policy. This combination equates to a highly efficient, must-have optic for results-driven hunters and shooters.
LaserForce features a laser capable of ranging distances from 10-1900 yards* with instantaneous readouts on a crisp OLED display. Distances are displayed in 0.1 yd increments to 100 yards, and 1-yard increments over 100 yards. The OLED display offers a 4-step brightness adjustment, making it easily readable under any light conditions and against various objects.
Featuring Nikon’s ID (Incline/Decline) Technology to compensate for the effects that slope has on trajectory, LaserForce provides hunters and shooters with the compensated range necessary to make the shot, whether uphill, downhill or on level ground.
The 10×42 binocular component of the optic features ED (Extra-low dispersion) Glass. This superior glass corrects chromatic aberration that causes color fringing for high-resolution, contrast-rich images. Additionally, full multilayer-coated lenses and prisms and a reflective mirror coating that is applied on the mirror surface of the roof prism unit reveal pristine images. The long eye relief design, combined with turn-and-slide rubber eyecups facilitate a custom fit for users’ individual viewing needs, with or without eyeglasses.
The overall design of LaserForce was engineered with the specific needs of hunters and shooters traveling the world’s most rugged types of terrain. The rubber armoring conforming to a metal die-cast body provides a highly durable exterior with a grip that is tailored to the texture and shape of the human hand. LaserForce is also completely waterproof/fogproof with a nitrogen-purged body that prevents fogging or molding inside the optical system, even under significant changes in temperature.
With an MSRP of $1,199.95, LaserForce is the single optic solution for serious hunters and shooters who mandate a high-quality binocular to acquire a distant target and a dependable laser to range the exact distance before taking the shot.
YouTube content creator Peter Sripol has recently released this video, where he modifies a pump-action NERF blaster into a pneumatic cannon of sorts. Due to its design, it can launch virtually any object that can fit down its barrel, which is shown to great effect during the footage.

The DP-12 is a double-barrel pump-action 12 gauge shotgun with a unique firing mechanism; after each pump, pulling the trigger twice fires both barrels one after the other. So, in a way, you can say the DP-12 is kind of a hybrid pump/semi-auto shotgun.
Standard Manufacturing, the makers of the DP-12, have just released a tactical pen with DP-12 branding. It features an aircraft grade aluminum body, with a integral hardened steel glass breaking tool/self-defense device, and a pocket clip. The pen has the DP-12 logo on the body, and refills with standard ink cartridges. I can’t help but feel there’s a missed opportunity here. They really should have made the pen with a double point, or something.
Check out this reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II, which premiered as part of this year’s Star Wars Celebration. DICE’s Battlefront, a reboot of the beloved Star Wars Battlefront series developed by Pandemic Studios in the mid 2000s, was a technically-impressive but somewhat lackluster game, featuring gorgeous graphics mixed with what ultimately felt more like Battlefield groundplay in a Star Wars skin, and vehicle combat which many gamers felt paled in comparison to its predecessor series. This sequel promises an actual story campaign, along with key battles from all three eras of the current Star Wars mainline canon, and the addition of space combat.
Hopefully, with this iteration of the Battlefront series, the game truly improves on its predecessor, and draws a bit more from Pandemic’s previous take on the franchise.
