It’s been a little over 3 years since I last featured Starcher Trek, a mashup of Archer and Star Trek the Animated Series, on TFB, and not only is still great, but it’s gotten new episodes since then.

Players will be divided into two teams of seven. One team will protect the Mark I as it moves across a World War I battlefield, providing cover and repairs to the Mark I, while the other team tries to use explosives to stop it in its tracks.

This is the first time Wargaming will harness World of Tanks in-game 360° video playback as well, putting any viewer in observer mode, whether they have the game installed or not.
In honor of the anniversary, the free “Tank 100” mobile app, created in association with the Tank Museum, is available for iOS and Android. This app lets users experience an AR WWI tank in their hands.
The 100 Years of Tanks press event, organized in partnership with The Tank Museum, Bovington, will take place September 15, in London. During the event, a Mark IV replica (created for Steven Spielberg’s movie “War Horse”) will be showcased in Trafalgar Square, just as the Mark I was, 100 years ago.

Blue Bell has released a camouflage-inspired ice cream flavor named, appropriately enough, ‘Camo ‘n Cream’. The ice cream is composed of three separate flavors: Pistachio Almond, Milk Chocolate and cream cheese. It should be on store shelves, although it will be a limited release.
In the same vein of that Tacticool C96 Mauser from a couple years back, someone (based on the grip texture and desert colorway likely the same someone as the C96) has done a similar job on an airsoft Luger P08. I love this one especially because the mini red dot is situated on the cocking mechanism. I also appreciate the integrated standoff spikes built into the frame, in front of the barrel.
Xbox Ahoy does his treatment on the ‘Right Arm of the Free World’, providing background on the iconic FAL while also demonstrating its inclusion in multiple video games within recent years.
Gearbox did arguably the best thing they could with the Duke Nukem franchise: rather than make a completely new game, they decided to release the original Duke 3D on modern platforms, and brought in members of the original creative team to make a 5th episode for the game.
I am being cautiously optimistic about this, since this is Gearbox we’re talking about (*cough*alienscolonialmarines*cough*), but it’s also classic Duke.

OK, so these two items are in no way, shape, or form known in any official terms as the “Tatooine Cosplay Starter Kit”. However, if you are looking for either a foam Tusken Raider’s Gaffi Stick, or are cosplaying as a Gamorrean guard (The pig guys that guard Jabba’s palace) and need one of their weapons (in foam), then these are honestly your best bet. We got ours on Disney property, so if you’re ever in the area be on the lookout for them.
Before anyone gets excited: this isn’t a remaster, and this isn’t official; it’s a fan trailer. That doesn’t take away from the excellent production values of this trailer.
Anyway, Aliens is still the peak of science fiction action/horror, and this trailer totally embodies that fact. It’s worth the watch.
Join Centurion MilSim October 8th and 9th in East Stroudsburg, PA for Operation Gladio 2016, a two-day MilSim event. Just by the description it’s sure to be a rip-roaring time:
At Operation Stonewall the Green Forces of the Southern Army were overwhelmed by enemy troops in an almost 2 to 1 ratio. So many targets of opportunity with so little man power to follow through. Eventually the Northern Raiders would overpower the Bastards… but there was always a back-up plan in place.
The Bastards had already placed a complete network across the North to cover any region that could be used as a strategic advantage… A secret ‘stay behind Army’ has been just waiting for their chance to make a difference… and now that time has come.
Join us in East Straudsburg, PA for a TWO DAY event that will test you and your team to new objectives, new enemy forces as well as a new location. This GUERRILLA ARMY needs your help to push down the Raiders and take the motivation away from their advancing forces.
If you’re not familiar with Dickbutt, it’s an internet meme; ’nuff said about that (Google it if you’re interested). Given the name, and the potential smells associated with said name, any wariness about the odor of an air freshner such as this one is fully understood, but it smells fine, honest! Just a generic, ‘fresh’-smelling air freshner… that looks like Dickbutt.
MecArmy’s BL47 is a 130 lumen flashlight designed to look like a copper-jacketed, brass-case cartridge. It features a Lithium Ion battery with a max runtime of 6 hours, and the light is rechargeable via USB.
Like virtually all ‘Tactical Pens’ on the market, Böker’s Tactical Pen is designed to also be utilized as a defensive tool, with a flat head for a secure thumb rest. It is made of CNC milled titanium, and features a ‘Clip Integrated Design’, as well as a “bolt action” mechanism for extending and retracting the pen head. It is compatible with LAMY #M22 ink refills.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 17, 2016) – Today TenCate Advanced Armor (TCAA) renewed its pledge to protect the nation’s law enforcement community through the Plate Up, America! campaign. Sparked by the recent increase in highly publicized active shooter incidents in the United States, the campaign’s primary goal is to equip all law enforcement and first responders with enhanced rifle threat protection.
“Law enforcement officers are often first on the scene for active shooter incidents and require protection from high-caliber weapons that standard soft body armor simply cannot provide,” said Michael Haynes, Plate Up, America spokesman. “Our advanced armor bridges the gap between soft armor which is designed to protect against common hand gun threats and the ever increasing use of high power rifle threats.”
Launched last year, the campaign provides a platform for officers, their families and concerned citizens to take an active role in lobbying local governments and police precincts to provide funding for the appropriate life-saving armor.
“Now, more than ever, there is a need to protect and serve those who protect and serve us,” said Haynes. “By partnering with city administrations, precincts, law enforcement officers and their families, as well as concerned citizens and other industry leaders, we are confident the Plate Up, America campaign can reverse the alarming trend in police fatalities.”

Discover German efficiency at its finest with eight mighty battleships, and brace for a line of British cruisers
August 17, 2016 — World of Warships welcomes the highly anticipated addition of German battleships. Meticulously engineered, sleek and powerful, eight new warships are already available in the game. And that’s not all. Captains can also ready themselves for a second wave as World of Warships is poised to add British cruisers this autumn.
“We’re extremely excited to be finally letting these fearsome German vessels loose on the battlefield,” said Artur Plociennik, Global Publishing Producer, World of Warships. “They’re versatile warships that are adept at bringing the battle to the enemy. Plus, with British ships on their way, it’s just another way we’re giving players as much freedom as possible to make the battle their own.”
German battleships dive into the heart of combat, bringing to players several iconic heavy-hitters: the legendary Bismarck (Tier VIII) with its vast expanse of armor and 8 main caliber guns in 4 turrets; the strongly armored Bayern (Tier VI); and the tough Großer Kurfürst, whose strong torpedo protection, enhanced horizontal armor and more advanced AA guns can even compete with mighty ships such as IJN Yamato and USS Montana.
German battleships leverage thick armor, a high rate of fire, and powerful secondary weaponry to make them extremely tough in close quarters combat. At the top of the branch, these vessels also benefit from “Hydro-acoustic search” equipment, which allows them to rapidly detect nearby opponents. In short, German battleships are perfect for the captain who isn’t afraid to get up close and personal.
Not long after the launch of the German battleships the first branch of the British fleet will also be preparing to set sail. A full branch of 10 British cruisers will include Caledon at Tier III, Leander at Tier VI, Edinburgh at Tier VIII, and Minotaur at Tier X. Commanders will be able to discover more about these vessels, lurking across the horizon, in the very near future. Guests to the Wargaming booth at gamescom 2016 can even get a first glimpse of the new line today, during the World of Warships presentation, commencing 12PM (GMT +2) at the Wargaming B2C booth.
