Similar in appearance and manual-of-arms as an AR pattern rifle or pistol, the Aero Survival Firearm is an original design engineered to be more compact than similar AR based designs. Portable, lightweight, easy to carry and rapid firing, this take-down rifle or pistol uses Glock pattern magazines (Remington 597 for the 22LR). Blowback operated for simplicity and reliability, both the upper and lower receiver are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. One 10rd magazine is included.
Centerfire Aero Survival Homebuilders Kits are available is in 9mm Luger, .357Sig, .40S&W, 45ACP and even the powerful 10mm, all using Glock pattern magazines. Rimfire versions also available in 22lr and 22WMR and use Remington 597 magazines. The removable barrel and easily convertible caliber changes allow the shooter to switch between similar cartridges with nothing more than the change of a barrel and bolt assembly.

It happens to be a comically oversized Mjölnir, specifically a foam prop based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe depiction of Thor’s legendary hammer. If you’re wondering who Ludens, AKA (The Playing Man) is, he’s the current Kojima Productions mascot, created to replace the Foxhound logo after the studio’s split from Konami; Hideo Kojima, namesake of the studio, is the mastermind behind the Metal Gear video game series. The Ludens figure is the creation of Hong Kong-based Sentinel Toys. Highly detailed in its construction, this figure utilizes a specially-designed inner frame, providing Ludens with 46 points of articulation, and an EVA suit made of ABS, PVC and real cloth. Additional features include light up functions, moving eyes, a smoke visor to replace the standard clear visor, a lance, beam flag, and three sets of hands.

Even so, the DCEU hasn’t had that solid of a critical track record, Wonder Woman notwithstanding, and trailers are designed to attract interest in a property, regardless of the final outcome.
In short, hopefully this pulls a Wonder Woman, and doesn’t suck like the other DCEU movies.

GrimWorkshop – Credit Card Sized Survival Spear

GrimWorkshop on Etsy makes a variety of credit card-sized survival kits. This one, their Survival Spear, is exactly what it sounds like. The card consists of three individual pieces, that can be combined into a full sized broadhead spear tip; just add handle and lashing and you’re ready to go. The pieces are made of stainless steel, and can even be put back into the storage card thanks to a patent pending tool retention system developed by GrimWorkshop.
