Also available is the first ever Tactical Gear Expo, which features manufactures, dealers and suppliers of tactical firearms, tactical knives, and tactical gear. Now’s your chance to wear the most impressive armory of weapons found throughout all of fiction. From the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch to the Klingon Bat’leth to the Nuke at the end of Dr. Strangelove, 79 fictional weapons adorn this circular design. Available in these styles: Blue/Black, Green/Forest (with a couple of replacement weapons), and a third that’s numbered to make future identification easier. True nerd cred goes to anyone who can name every weapon; I’m admittedly not recognizing a few.
A great collection of negligent discharges, improper equipment checks and uses, improper attire, and use of a firearm one is either incapable of using or unfamiliar with. In other words, witness an extremely amusing collection of firearms fail. Although not every clip in the collection can necessarily be described as “negligent”, they’re still funny as Hell. Enjoy!

I’m impressed with the sheer volume of information available on this DVD. It includes details on over 50,000 firearms by hundreds of manufactures, from A.M.S.D to ZVI, including high-res images, technical specifications, and pricing when applicable. The guide offers detailed information on hundreds of types of ammunition including ballistics and pricing. Also available is a library over 1,550 printable firearm and airgun schematics and parts lists from 130 manufactures, 500 printable targets, a US-EU ammo caliber chart, and a video on the construction of bespoke guns. It’s easily the most comprehensive collection of firearms information I’ve ever had the pleasure of looking at. I highly recommend it.
To say that Manta Rails are simply a slip-on grip cover for your rail system wouldn’t be doing them justice. Manta Rails are made from a highly resilient polymer and have adjustable grip tension for a variety of rail tolerances. They are quick to install, reduce weapon heat, protect your weapon from chemicals and abrasion, and reduce mirage and IR signature. Manta Rails are also available in a variety of colors to help break up the weapon’s silhouette and can be cut down to fit any length rail. One of the more unique and useful features of Manta Rails is the Micro Pocket design. These allow you to internally route wires and pressure switches to keep them in place and protect them from fluctuating temperatures and external hazards. Very useful if you run a light or laser on your weapon. Finally, they maintain a positive grip in practically every situation. They also do a great job of protecting your hands and equipment from the sawtooth effect of a 1913 rail. Simply put, Manta Rails are extremely versatile rail covers. I use them, and highly recommend them to everyone.

Both Ice T and Coco were at a recent event at Scottsdale Gun Club where they got a bit of shooting done. The event was hosted by US PALM, and you can see Rob Anderson posing in the pic above, along with the happy couple. Good times all around.
Despite what the name may lead you to believe, it’s actually a pistol holster, and as you can see from the video, it’s a pretty fast draw. An inexperienced shooter managed an average time of 1.5 seconds from draw to shoot using a .380. It’s also highly concealable, the holster covers everything except the pistol grip in a kydex shell, and it fits any conventional bra size. Anything that combines boobs and firearms in a positive manner is alright by me.
This is a custom made LEGO accessory of the De Lisle carbine, a British weapon that saw limited use in WWII due to very low production numbers, best known for its extremely effective, yet very large, suppressor. It was made by JONATHAN ELDRIDGE, a user on MOCpages.
If you’re in need of a new Remington 870, a new AC, and you live in or near Plant City, Florida, then you’re in luck. Struggling United Electrical Systems of Plant City has recently started a promotion where if you purchase and have a 15 seer Air Conditioning system installed by the company, you qualify to receive a free Remington 870, provided you pass the mandatory background check. The promotion was started to benefit both United Electrical Systems and the owner’s other store, a licensed gun shop, Shoot-N-Irons. Any customers that don’t qualify to receive the shotgun will have a charitable donation made in their name. It’s not the most original promotion, but if it helps them drum up more business, then more power to them.
Badger Ordnance is now offering a charging handle for all those left-handed shooters out there. The Badger Ordnance Left Handed Tactical Charging Handle is mil-spec with mil-spec black anodized coating and weighs in at a light 1.45 oz. I’m glad to see products like this come out, since I’m a firm believer in equal opportunity ass-kicking.
This LEGO creation by ‘roflcopters ?’ of MOCpages.com is a full-sized model of the M4A1 carbine. It features a removable, magazine, removable carrying handle, removable foregrip, removable butt stock, and realistic iron sights. Pretty damn neat, if you ask me, but can I get it in all black bricks? If not, that’s fine. Less confused law enforcement officials that way.
Awhile ago, I announced that Utah chose the M1911 as their official state firearm. Now, Arizona has followed suit, choosing the Colt Single Action Army as their official state firearm. Governor Jan Brewer passed the bill on Thursday. It was chosen because of the revolver’s extensive use during Arizona’s territorial days. The only question that remains is if other states will follow the trend of picking official firearms. Only time will tell.
This amazingly detailed drawing of a man aiming an M14 M1A/SOCOM II is titled ‘Shooter’, and it’s done entirely in pencil. In fact, the detail is so great, one could almost assume it was a black and white photograph. The artist is Renee Alane, and more of her fantastic work can be found on the Facebook page RM Pencil Drawings.
Rage is a game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth, so of course the weaponry would be a mix of the familiar and the strange. You’ve got your standard rifles, smgs, pistols, and shotguns, but also futuristic crossbows, automated turrets, and the wingstick, a large three-bladed throwing weapon.
Also, props to including the AK-47 as the “Settler Machine Gun”. If any weapon would survive an earth shattering catastrophe it would have to be the AK.
Rage comes out September 13, 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Explosions via claymores, stunt jumps by members of Action Factory, airsoft weaponry made real, with a nice splash of Adobe After Effects to tie it all together. Classic freddiew. I like how he whistles the Metal Gear theme just before the action starts. Nice touch.
Here’s some footage of the Kel-Tec KSG in action in the “Eat Lead” course by Nutnfancy. To be specific, it’s a video demonstrating the strengths and weaknesses of the system, how it compares to a Winchester 1300 running the same course, and some pistol shooting thrown in for good measure. Also, the video’s pretty damn long, a little over 45 minutes, so only those with an abnormally large attention span will be able to sit through the whole thing without skipping around.
Just a quick reminder that the new season of Mythbusters premieres tonight, April 6th, at 9pm Eastern on the Discovery Channel. It’s worth a mention if only for all the explosions and firearms that have appeared in the past seasons. Personally, I’m hoping for a lot more of the same!
Presenting the most over accessorized Uzi(?) of all time:
Credit for the photo goes to ScottsdaleGun (Scottsdale Gun Club) via yfrog. If this is their abomination, I have to question how many beers led to this seeming like a brilliant idea.
I think I’ll make ‘True Gun Pr0n’ a regular thing. What do you all think?
Remember yesterday’s first article? The chick in the bikini dual wielding those Glocks? Pretty hot, right? Yeah, imagine that times a thousand, and that pretty much describes the above vid. This is definitely a better way to start the day.
A video staring a hot chick dual wielding Glocks while wearing only a bikini? Is there any better way to start the day? Possibly, but I can’t think of anything at the moment; too busy re-watching this vid.
This video from UNCTV shows the process by which Red Storm Interactive collects the sounds and looks of multiple firearms to further enhance the quality of their own games. They do this by recording the weapons shots at a range, then later having advisers come in with real weapons so they may record all the individual features. This insures the firearms are accurately modeled in their games, especially compared to other development studios. This is something I personally appreciate, because too many times I’ve heard firearms in games that just look and sound completely wrong. If you ask me, the extra effort is well worth it.
Youtuber FPS Russia seems to have access to two things: a metric ass-ton of disposable income, and some impressive connections in the firearms trade. In each video he picks from a diverse collection of weaponry, including the appropriate to his namesake AK-47 and the “most powerful handgun on Earth” .500 S&W Magnum revolver. Using these, he puts multiple rounds into everything from melons to soda bottles to paper targets of hostile clowns, and more often than not, he goes fully automatic. At the very least, the videos are pretty entertaining to watch, if only to see firearms most civilians would never dream of having access to. Also, I doubt that accent is real.
Is it just me, or does this shotgun look awfully familiar? Huh. I must be imagining things. Anyway, Turkish firm UTAS has gotten into the bullpup shotgun market with the UST-15. It features a 14+1 capacity of 2.75″ shotshell via dual tubes, but it can also chamber 3″ rounds… Weird, I swear I’ve heard this somewhere else before. Back on topic, a selector switch allows the user to select which tube to feed from, or an option to alternate between the two tubes also exists.
The body of the UST-15 is constructed from carbon fiber and features a full length picatinny rail for a variety of attachments. It already comes equipped with both forward and rear iron sights and the lower receiver features a built in button operated laser and light. The overall length is 27″ with a weight of 7.2 lbs.
For those Americans salivating at the prospect of owning one, it’s also being manufactured in the US. Yippy skippy! Now I know I’ve heard that before as well. But what other bullpup shotgun could have such similar traits?
