David Harbour’s Hellboy Revealed

For those who aren’t in the know, the original Guillermo Del Toro Hellboy movie series, staring Ron Pearlman as the titular hero, was cancelled, with the third movie put on the kibosh after a period in development hell. News of a hard-R Hellboy reboot almost immediately followed the news of the cancellation, with David Harbour stated to star.
David Harbour, best known for his role as Jim Hopper in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, seemed like an odd choice to many, largely because many felt he didn’t really look the part. Plus, with Ron Pearlman’s badass baritone voice and already comic-accurate appearance, seeing the role played by anyone else seemed inconceivable. However, with this reveal of Mr. Harbour in full Hellboy garb, the response has been largely positive. He also looks a lot like Pearlman did in his Hellboy outfit, which is a huge plus.
In case you’re wondering, David didn’t undergo any sort of ultra-intense ‘action hero’ workout and ‘supplement’ regimen to fit the role. It’s at least 90% prosthetics. In fact, he pretty much looks like he does in the image below underneath the costume:

I’m not the biggest fan of store exclusive variants, but GameStop is currently offering a pre-order for a NERF Rival Apollo XV-700 Blaster with an exclusive Mandalorian paint job, and a matching mask.
The NERF Rival line consists of various unique blasters that fire foam spheres rather than darts, and feed from translucent magazines. The Rival in the name comes from the fact that the blasters in the series are generally available in either solid blue or red colors, signifying opposite teams. While I would have liked to see a more Mandalorian-inspired face mask, all the same, this is a cool release if you’re into NERF and Star Wars.
The release date for the Mandalorian Apollo XV-700 w/ Face Mask is November 17th of this year, coinciding with the release of ‘Star Wars: Battlefront 2’.

Adventure Mate – 5-In-1 Outdoor Tool

The Adventure Mate is an Australian 5-in-1 tool designed for outdoor enthusiasts. Made of AS1442-2007 Carbon Rolled Steel, the Adventure Mate consists of three main parts:
Hatchet w/ Hammer Head, Hook at top, Saw Blade
Handle Pole
Spade Head
The tool centers around the Handle Pole, which attaches to either the Hatchet head or Spade Head, allowing full use of the attached tools. The Adventure Mate also comes with a leather safety sheath and a heavy duty, lined canvas holster.
