Ready Aim Craft features flags, signs, wedding décor and jewelry, all made from 12 gauge shotgun shells; turns hobby into growing business
FAWN GROVE, Pa., Jan. 5, 2017 – Launched on Etsy in August 2013, Ready Aim Craft has surpassed the 1000-sale mark, while maintaining a 5-star average rating. Since it’s inception, the small shop has grown from a few small items made from spent ammo, like key chains and earrings, to over 100 items including an American flag made from over 360 12-gauge shotgun shells.

The P320 ASP air pistol features a metal slide with realistic blowback action and polymer frame in addition to a smooth slide safety. The 12gr CO2 cartridge is inserted and removed through a compartment in the side of the grip. Velocity is up to 450 fps; however, velocity results may vary depending on pellet weight, temperature and altitude. CLEVELAND, OHIO (September 27, 2016) – The third annual Pyramyd Air Cup, hosted by the world’s largest internet airgun retailer Pyramyd Air, boasts the best attended AAFTA Grand Prix event for field target shooting in the U.S. during 2016. Hosted in conjunction with local AAFTA club, the Ohio Airgun & Field Target Shooters Association (OAFTSA), nearly 100 shooters descended upon the Tusco Rifle Club in New Philadelphia, OH September 9-11 for the most challenging and exciting airgun match of the year. The third annual competitive shooting event attracted amateur and professional shooters from all over the country and delivered winners in multiple airgun shooting disciplines including Field Target shooting, the fast-paced GunSlynger event, and the PayDay Challenge.
“We introduced a record number of people to the sport of airgunning at this year’s Cup,” says Pyramyd Air CEO, Joshua Ungier. “And while the competitive spirit was remarkable amongst shooters, it was the almost tangible level of anticipation for each exciting course of fire that really sets the Pyramyd Air Cup competition apart from others,” he said.

“Field Target is one of the most difficult shooting disciplines out there,” says Pyramyd Air Cup Match Director, Tyler Patner. “Combine the multiple skills required to rise to the top of your game, with the myriad of factors you take into account at each lane, and you’ve got a challenging sport,” he says.
“Targets are small, metal silhouettes of animals that consist of a kill zone and a colored paddle,” explains Patner. “Placed at unknown distances from between 10 yards to as far as 55 yards, the targets have kill-zones ranging in size from 3/8 inch to 1 1/2 inches. When the pellet passes through the kill zone and hits the paddle, the target falls and you’re awarded a point,” he said. “It’s a game of precision and practice. You range find with your scope, dope for distance, take the wind into account, and then you have to execute. It’s really a lot to take in,” he added. “There are different restrictions based upon your selected class, but the challenges remain the same. Wind doping, range finding, and remaining mentally tough over the entire course of fire are the biggest hurdles competitors face,” Patner says.

September 2, 2016 — Wargaming is proud to be celebrating 100 Years of Tanks with a host of online events in remembrance of the Mark I, the first tank to ever enter the battlefield. Numerous in-game modes featuring the Mark I, will be featured across all products beginning September 14for World of Tanks on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Xbox 360; with World of Tanks PC joining the celebration on September 15 will and World of Tanks Blitz kicking off September 19.
“Wargaming was created with a passion for history and video games. It runs through everything we do,” said Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi. “This September, we are celebrating an event that not just changed the history of military engineering but inspired generations of creators to build ingenious vehicles. Trench Warfare Mode for World of Tanks on consoles, the first of the Mark I game event deploys on September 14 and introduces a limited time mode, featuring the Mark I and console-exclusive map Thiepval Ridge. In addition to the Mark I game mode, players can earn the British Tier VIII Centennial Chieftain/T95 Medium Tank with special commemorative Trench Warfare camouflage by completing an earned operation mission.
World of Tanks on PC will introduce a special in-game event on September 15. In “Convoy” mode, players will be driving an entirely new vehicle type: four-wheeled Lanchester armored cars, armed with fast-firing machine guns, which are incredibly quick and mobile. Players will be divided into two teams of seven. One team will protect the Mark I as it moves across a World War I battlefield, providing cover and repairs to the Mark I, while the other team tries to use explosives to stop it in its tracks.
Last but certainly not least, World of Tanks Blitz is hosting the 100 Years of Tanks event. For one week, starting September 19, tankers will take control of a modified Mark I in a furious 7-vs-7 battle. Once10 battles are completing in the Mark I during this week, a special medal will be earned.
In keeping with Wargaming’s commitment to connect different generations through history, technology and innovation, the company is excited to present the Virtually Inside the First Tanks 360° Video. German battleships leverage thick armor, a high rate of fire, and powerful secondary weaponry to make them extremely tough in close quarters combat. At the top of the branch, these vessels also benefit from “Hydro-acoustic search” equipment, which allows them to rapidly detect nearby opponents. In short, German battleships are perfect for the captain who isn’t afraid to get up close and personal.
Not long after the launch of the German battleships the first branch of the British fleet will also be preparing to set sail. A full branch of 10 British cruisers will include Caledon at Tier III, Leander at Tier VI, Edinburgh at Tier VIII, and Minotaur at Tier X. BLOOMFIELD, New York (JULY 25, 2016) Since its introduction in January, Crosman Corporation’s Benjamin® Pioneer Airbow® has captured the attention of rifle hunters seeking a safe and efficient entry into the exciting world of bowhunting, and crossbow owners who are drawn to it for its safe and uncomplicated operation. The Archery Trade Association (ATA) recently issued a negative position statement on the Airbow® that contained misstatements about this revolutionary hunting weapon.
Contrary to what the ATA has stated, Crosman Corporation does pay the required excise tax that goes towards conservation efforts supported by Pittman Robertson funds. Although pneumatic weapons are currently exempt from this tax, the arrows used by the Airbow® are subject to the tax. Additionally, because Crosman wants to support conservation efforts along with firearms manufacturers and other archery companies, Crosman is proactively pursuing the removal of the tax exemption for certain large bore pneumatic weapons, including the Airbow®.
The Airbow® may not meet the ATA’s definition of “pure” archery equipment; however, hunters that currently use archery weapons and firearms continue to petition their state wildlife and legislative leaders to make it a legal alternative to use in their preferred seasons. Consumers are drawn to the Airbow® because its performance compares closely to, if not exceeds, most crossbows. Furthermore, both consumers and state officials that have experienced the capabilities of the Airbow® firsthand recognize it as a safe alternative to crossbows.

BLOOMFIELD, New York (JULY 13, 2016) Summer’s hottest shooting competition lived up to the billing with the 7th running of the Crosman All-American Field Target Championship as 80 shooters from across the country plus Canada and Puerto Rico competed over two days at Rochester Brooks International Gun Club in western New York. The match featured a 120-shot rifle course and a 30-shot pistol course with awards presented in nine competition classes.
Joel Gupta of Westampton, New Jersey put together the most complete performance of the weekend, placing fourth in his rifle division with 106 points and winning his pistol division with 36. The combined total of 142 secured the All-Around title by five points over Puerto Rico’s Manuel Morales.
The World Field Target Federation (WFTF) division utilizes the international standard of 12 foot-pound rifles. Greg Sauve of Green Bay, Wisconsin is a member of Team USA and a top international competitor; he previously won WFTF PCP class in 2011, 2012 and 2014. After Day 1 of the 2016 CAAFTC he led by a single point and finished with a score of 110. Three shooters tied for second with a 106 and Brian Vandenboom of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois won in a shootoff while Jeff Paddock of Olmsted Falls, Ohio fell to third and Tyler Patner of Solon, Ohio placed fourth.
